"Daaaaad! Guess what? My teacher finally got the call that I can play in the opera!"

Tony turned around with a big grin as his 16-year old practically burst into the lab.

Peter Parker-Stark, son of Tony Stark, famously known as the world's best classical pianist and ballet dancer. Infamously known as Spider-man, web-slinging hero and vigilante, tackled his father in a hug, eyes shimmering with pride.

Tony gladly returned the hug.
"Congrats Pete! I knew they'd pick you!"
Peter let go and looked at the floor.
"I also wanted to ask something," He said, "Flash is having a party, I got invited."

Tony frowned: "Doesn't he bully you? Why the fuck would you ever go there? Do you really want to?"
Peter sighed.
"Well not really. But it would greatly improve my social status! If people see me there, they'll leave me alone!"

He looked up at his dad, a hint of determination in his eyes.
Tony put a hand on his hip and pinched the bridge of his nose with the other.
"Okay, fine. But I don't want you drinking and you need to be home by 1 AM max. Okay?"

Peter's face lit up. He jumped into Tony's arms.
"Thanks dad! And don't worry, Ned will be there too. What's the worst that could happen?"

Being excited, Peter decided to go to the empty dance room.
He cautiously opened the door, looking to see if there was someone.

He closed the door behind him and let out a relieved sigh.
Legs shaking with excitement, he ran to the big stereo system and picked out his favourite song.

When the first notes blossomed into the room, he let out a content sigh.
Bring up his hands, he let the branches of music fill the room.
Flowers sprouted from the walls and his feet were soon planted in the soft grass.

His dance was precise, perfect and graceful. Not one movement was off.
You'd say he were a music box porcelain figurine. But he felt like the water flowing between the rocks of a mountain stream, the wind between pine trees, fish in water. Two wings unfolded on his back, feathers ruffling.

He leapt into the air, and flew.
He flew up, meeting the cold air until he burst through the clouds. A soft breeze played with his curly locks.
He perched on the highest cloud and stared at the sun, bright and-

"Peter?"

The clouds broke apart and he crashed down on Earth.
With a thud he landed on the hardwood floor, ending his daydream.
Rubbing his thigh, he looked up.

He saw Natasha in the doorway, with a hand of her mouth.
"Fuck, I'm sorry Spider. I didn't mean to scare you!"

Peter stood up, dusting himself off.
"That's okay Aunt Nat, I'm not angry!"
He smiled at his mother figure.

Tony gave Natasha second custody over Peter, since she had practically raised him whenever Tony was away. Pepper didn't mind, Natasha was practically her sister. She knew Natasha trained her spider well and loved him more that anything.

"I was looking for you, since when do you dance?" Nat said, handing him a bottle of water.

Peter took a big sip: "I've always danced, I used to take classes until I was 10 and never stopped dancing. I come here about 4 times a week."

Nat smiled: "You're very talented. I loved seeing you that happy. I've never seen them dance like this."
Peter's smiled faltered: "Oh, yeah. Right, the Red Room. I'm sorry."

Nat ruffled his hair: "Don't worry baby. That's all in the past, I got you now and I'm happier than I've ever been."

She slung and arm over his shoulders and they went upstairs.

The night of the big party came sooner than expected.
Peter and Ned found themselves in a quieter part of the house. Peter was wearing ear plugs to reduce the noise of the music and yelling people, but he still heard it loud and clear.

Every once in a while, people would offer them drugs and alcohol, that they accept. But when no one would be around, they just threw it into one of the large plants in the house.

They had grabbed a few soda's from the kitchen and were peacefully drinking it. Peter then looked disgusted and horrified.

Ned looked up in alarm.
"What's up? Is there alcohol in it, or code Arachnid?" He asked.

Peter shook his head, face still scrunched up.
"No.. I can hear people have sex nearby. Ew, is it really how that sounds?"

They looked at each other, and burst out laughing.

"Anyway, I'll see you on Monday Ned. Bye." Peter smiled.
The pair did their handshake, before Peter got in his car. Ned went back to the porch, waiting for his Uber.

The streets were empty and wet from the pouring rain. Peter never really felt on ease when driving by himself in this weather.

Soft music played through the speakers. Making Peter feel like being in a sad movie. Softly smiling, he waited for the light to turn green.

As he waited entirely alone on the road, he thought to himself: 'You know. I'm a lucky guy. Can't wait for the big opera, Dad will be so proud!'

As the light became green, he started driving again. He was so caught up in his thoughts.

He only just heard the screeching of tires and a snap. Then the world broke and he was falling.
