A bit of a bonus chapter since I came up with this idea a little bit after finishing the latest chapter. This ended up being longer then expected.

The world was at it's end. Arfoire was right... this world would not last with only a single CPU. The people's trust in me was strong but...

"Keep attacking! That beast won't succeed." We never expected this. A giant beast suddenly appeared in the four corners of Gamindustri. In the end the only safe haven for the injured was the Basilicom.  

Monster became more powerful and violent while it destroyed more. It was heading in one direction. Here.

As the months past they only made It's way closer and closer. The people became more afraid prying that my sister and the others would return. 

I was now sat in my room. We had just held a strategy meeting for the coming day.  We had one more mouth to prepare. As the beast was almost here It would be our last attempt to stop them.

As I stared to the ceiling. All I could do was wait. "Having trouble little sis?" I looked to my side... Neptune was standing there with the same smile she always had. Tears filled my eyes "I don't know what to do anymore Neptune. I thought with the sword I would be strong enough... But these things are far more powerful then anything we could have expected. Maybe..." I held the cursed sword that had taken the other CPUs lives. I was the only one left. I slowly pointed the blade towards me. "one more shoul-" I felt her hand stop me. "No! You have been through enough... Dying now would be pointless." "We lost ether way... Besides it should have been you instead of me. After all I was nothing without yo-"

My cheek hurt... The pain stuck to my face like glue. "Nepgear..." Neptune looked down at me sad. "I know you can think of something... After all-" She pointed to her self using her thumb. "Your sister is the protagonist of protagonist. And since you are only slightly less as cool as me you have nothing to worry about." 

I hug her as tight as I could. I didn't want to let go again. "I wish you were here!" I cried into her chest as I felt her pat my had gently. "Me too..." "No matter what happens. Protect them."

I suddenly woke up. It was still night time.

A week later      

Recently Histoire sent IF and a team to explore some old runes. They managed to find a strange device. I am meant to be looking into it. 

It looks like a wrist watch. It was white and surprisingly was quite well kept. The tech  was very old, Histy wanted me to look into it with team but I held off until I got a better grasp of it. 

It did not take long however for me to figure out the purpose. "So what your saying is that. It is a beacon?" Histy asked. "Yes the watch sends out a signal for something. If we can track where it's sending the signal too then maybe we can figure out what the receiver is." 

Histoire looked worried. "I don't know Nepgear..." "Histy please. If we can find the receiver then we might have a chance." 

Histy did not speak however IF stood. "It's worth a shot. I will give you my scavenging team. How long will it take to track the signal?" "About a day." I replied to IF. The group looked at each other and nodded. "Alright we will have a three day scavenge as soon as the signal has been traced."

I looked an IF and smiled. "Thanks Iffy." "No prob Ge." 

It did not take for us to find the receiver. It was buried under the ground.  We did not have time to dig it up however the device started beeping quite a bit. The screen on it displayed activate.
