The Planeptune Basilicom was guarded quite well. While uninhabited guards still patrol it. thousands of guards watched each corner of the Basilicom. Watching the area carefully.
The building was quite destroyed due to the battle against the CPUs and lord Drakkon. Debris littered the outside. The soldiers would occasionally complain about the difficulty about moving around. Some would go inside and use the coffee machine that was set up at the ground floor.
The guards themselves wore pretty generic armour and had helmets on. Some held guns while others had axes.

But the worst part was the machines that assisted them. While the guards mostly chatted and slacked off a little bit. The machines were a different story all together. They attacked anything that moved that was not a guard. Their aim was similar to that of a pro sniper.
They were quite big and had four to nine legs that allowed them to move quickly. But there were not many. Only around 20 or so.

Me, the CPUs and a couple of friends managed to sneak past the guards and robots mostly okay. But I could tell that if we don't reach the place Histoire told us to go soon we would lose our only hope in ending all of this.
Sneaking past them was the easy since they were pretty dumb. "Thank goodness human guards are normally stupid." Neptune said weakly. "Shut up Neptune!" Noire whispered. Neptune just giggled. The machines were far trickier since they could see us within a second. "Iffy" Though we should be fine as long as we keep moving carefully.
"Iffy." Though now I wonder. Was it a good idea to bring such a large group. "Well I mean we are dying." Vert said... Wait. "How did you hear all that!?" "You were talking out loud Iffy." "Heehee I can't believe you didn't notice." Neptune added to Compas words. "I can't believe you were monolingual at a time like this." Blanc said slightly annoyed . "Though it is very cute IF." Vert finished.
