Shoot. Kill. Rinse. Repeat.
Those four words stuck in my mind like a flower stuck in the mud. It's what helped me live life without being caught by roamers or bitters. It's how we lived. It's how we survived. I learned from the best.

Raymond Giggs. My mentor. My saviour. He was pretty much my dad. I loved him with all my heart. Ever since he found me 4 years ago, we became inseparable. Fighting bitters and bad people we met on the street. He taught me everything I know.

When he first found me, I had just lost both my brothers to the bitters. I had no one. It's like he was sent from the heavens to look after me. Every scar I had. Every wound. I survived because of him. When I first met him, he had a wife Caron. They were living in an old shack deep in the forest.

Caron was very sick and even with medication she wasn't healing. Then one day she asked her husband to end her suffering once and for all. At first he didn't oblige but after some harsh truth from Caron he put her to sleep. It was hard, on both of us. Him more then me. We had each other though.

It's was me and him against the world. That was until one night when the cabin we had been staying in got overrun by bitters; leaving us to run and be separated. I have been trying to look for him for months now but to know avail. My hope of finding him were slim to none.

I walked through the hidden forest as I avoided bitters, not wanting to use energy
when not needed. That was until I stupidly stepped on a twig gaining the attention of a dozen of them. "Shit!" I whispered as the all cane towards me claiming my as their meal.

I brought out my dagger and swung at each monster trying to claw its way at me. Taking many down with me. As I went to take out the last one I lost my foot in as I stumbled before falling on my back with the bitter trying to claw his way into me but with all the strength I had (which wasn't a lot) I managed to hold him away a little bit before I heard a gun shot and the creature fell limp beside me.

I looked up half expecting to see Raymond but instead I was greeted by two people. A young boy who looked around my age and a taller older looking guy. I stood up quickly and brushed myself down before nodding at them. "Thank you for the save."

I didn't let them respond as I begun to walk away. "Wait, hold up." I felt the older guy stop my but I grabbed his hand before flipping him over. I gasped as I realised he wasn't a bitter or roamer. I didn't say anything. I watched as the older man stood shaking off the pain in his shoulder.

"Wow, kid. That's some impressive strength." He complemented me. I smiled but before I got to say anything I felt a blow to my head and felt the ground as I fell limp. My body bitting the ground before darkness took over.

I felt fuzzy as my eyes opened. My vision a little blurry. I looked around to see that I was laying on a bed. I sat up way to quickly that both my blood and vision ran to my head. I looked around to see that I was in a jail cell. I looked around to see clean clothes laying on the table. I smiled but then looked towards the door, wiping the smile of off my face.

I walked up to the entrances and gripped my hands around the bars before sighing. I was a prisoner. I looked around only seeing more cells on the left and right side before looking over the rail to see downstairs. I could hear faint talking coming from the room next.

I could slightly make out the voice of the old guy from in the forest. "I'm telling you, this girl is dangerous. She handled 11 walkers on her own then flipped me over her shoulder." I smirked a little seeing how scared he sounded but felt proud that I still had it.

I put my arms in between the bars before rolling my eyes. "Seriously, I'm not a criminal." I shouted which I knew gained attention from the others. The first man I met stepped through the door and up the stairs followed by a Chinese guy and the kid from earlier.
