"WHY'D you do that?!" Chase yells out of anger, his eyes piercing to hers, very furious at her very unexpected doings. Skye, seeming unfazed or unharmed from the recent happening, simply hopped off of his back and tried brushing the dust off that clots on the tips of her fur shaft "Because if I hadn't, everyone would be hurt" she simply replies, before she walks over to the vine Chase left to catch her, she then started to pull Mayor Goodway up with no additional lines. Chase, knowing there's no other choice - helped her lift the Mayor up anyway. "Oh thank you pups!" She exclaims happily, then knelt to give each of them a pat on the head "I owe you two a lot; I am sorry Skye you had to go through that" the Mayor turns to her with a sympathetic smile "It's nothing; glad I could help though" the Cockapoo replies with a warm smile as she suggests everyone that they should probably get going now.

As they continue their walk, Skye had contacted Ryder through her pup-tag to get any information about his and Marshall's unknown quest. Ryder left them with little to no information about the situation they will be facing soon - or currently. "Ryder, what's happening?" Skye asks, as she patiently awaits for his response probably in the midst of the action "We've just extinguished the Town Hall with the extra help of Zuma. The flames pretty much surrounded the facades of the building, resulting or Marshall unable to extinguish it on his own" as Ryder cites the things that happened, in the background, Mayor Goodway shivered in worry as she wraps her own arms around herself. "Is Mayor Goodway safe?" Ryder asks, Skye affirmed as for her response, and with that, they had said their goodbyes and concluded their short conversation.

"Is no one going to talk why someone would set the Town Hall on fiwe?" The pups, including Ryder, nodded at the Lab's thought "He's right" Rocky agrees "Nobody, not even Mayor Humdinger would set it on fire if it's plan were to take over Adventure Bay" curiosity arose around the rooms, and even the clueless Chase is intrigued and determined to know who dares to do such thing. Rubble then stood up from his bean bag and made a ruffling noise "Do you think Mayor Goodway fell for no reason but her two feet failing her?" The French Bulldog raises another question, Chase, somehow having a wave of idea then says "That. . . Should be impossible. There weren't any debris of tree products from the trees in the path. . ." he trails off "The path wasn't even slippery to begin with, and it wasn't even that steep" brows began to raise and everyone became even more curious, and Chase's conclusion were probably one of the missing puzzle pieces that could help them solve this mystery. "Well, one thing we can agree on, is Mayor Goodway's fall on a ledge is no accident done by her. Someone who wants to rule Adventure Bay for itself did it"

Everyone looks at each other, brows rose, some had a grim or curious look "But only Mayow Humdingew would be intewested in taking ovew Adventuwe Bay. . . Wight?" Zuma reminds them "You are not wrong Zuma" Ryder adds "But we shouldn't quickly jump into conclusions. We might be wrong" he reminds, as he began to stand up from where he is "Just remember pups, whatever happens, wherever you are, be on high alert" and after that, the conversation they were having had ended abruptly when Ryder had recently received a call. He looked at his pups, and gestured he'll be taking the phone call now, which everyone didn't mind.

Since the conversation seems to have ended, everyone exited the look-out to do something fun or rather. . . Unwind. "Say Chase?" Marshall starts, as he walks with the German Shepherd outside "What were you doing last night?" Chase re-traced himself from what happened last night and found himself searching for something in the bush "I didn't quite understand what you were doing since its already night and I'm all spacey". Chase then replies "Ah, that. It's nothing special, I just found a baby bird that fell out of its nest" at this response, the dally pup couldn't help but laugh at this "Oh man. . . Somehow you always have a sense for someone in trouble, huh?"

All confused about where Marshall's coming from, he earned a "Huh?" from Chase. Marshall, realizing that his friend has amnesia, quickly explained "Well, you see. . . Your first rescue ever was saving Skye from a bush! And the best part was? That rescue was a life-changer for her"

"Her?"

"Oh no! The ball rolled away!" young Rocky exclaims, as the ball rolled forth the bush - a bush that is part of a forest "M-maybe we should leave it? It's gonna take awhile anyway and we need to leave the park in ten minutes!" The spotted-pup, Marshall, reminds as he tries to swerve the idea of going to the forest when the sun is about to set and night will fall upon them. "No worries! I can get it for you guys" Chase offers as he already turns his body facing towards the bushes "Awe you suwe Chase?" young Zuma hesitates, hating the idea of their friend going alone there "I promise it won't take too long!" He shouted back as he dived right in to a wall of lush-green leaves. He bursts right through the other side with no thorn piercing him or whatsoever "Okay, time to find that ball!" He then walked around and heard scratching sounds from high above. Searching high and low for the sounds, to his surprise, he found a female pup high above amongst the towering trees, trying her best to climb up to the tallest branch there is "A pup?" He says in shock and utter concern.

When she was about to successfully get a tight grip on the branch she probably desired to stay, the claws that pierces right through the bark had lost its grip and had led her to a great fall. By the sight of it, if she falls, she could be heavily fracture a bone or two, and the forest floor isn't making things look easier as it has rocks and pebbles littering the forest floor. With all his courage, speed and strength, he had caught the pup in time and had landed on his back safely. Luckily her fall didn't hurt him that much, since she was devastatingly light and thin. "Poor pup. . . She needs help! . ." He told no one as he quickly picked up their ball and immediately bursts through the bush once more. Releasing the ball that rolled towards Zuma, he wasted no time and said "We need to take her back to Ryder!"

Murmurs filled the tower, and everyone, including Ryder, waited the pup for its wake. She was laying down on a towel that wraps her in its warm arms. Chase was anticipating for her wake, quite excited to finally meet someone new, and someone different from his kind yet somehow the same. He hopes that she would be convinced into joining their team. He thought that everyone could really use a new buddy now, the more the merrier is what they say, right? As the moment everyone anticipates for is about to begin. . . Her eyes fluttered and revealed the prettiest pair of eyes Chase had ever seen.

Chase remained silent; the memories that flashed before him had ended and somehow, it was all familiar to him even though something like that never made sense before. "Oh. . . I did?" He carefully asks in affirmation, Marshall nods in response "Y'know. . . I'm glad you were there in time for Skye. She may have gotten hurt, like everyone here" the duo had stared at each other and Chase just contemplates even more to the scenes that had flashed in his mind. Then, a distant call from Rubble was heard, he was waving a paw in the air, while Rocky, Zuma and Skye were already picking their ends for their game of tug-of-war, the English Bulldog signals them to come and join them "Come on Chase!" Marshall enthuses as he sped off towards the group.

The sun was already down and were enveloped among the mountains. The night gem was out tonight casting its brightest shine, the mysterious cloak of what they call outer-space were adorned with different kind of jewels, and from afar, were planets with different shapes, sizes, and its own-unique characteristics. The night wasn't cold - surprisingly. And in the middle of everything. . .

"You lied to me."
