**Present**

One think Jungkook knew was that Taehyung was the one. What better than to share their love with family and friends?

The door bell rang as Jungkook and Jimin we're finishing up the decorations for Taehyung.
Jungkook ran to the door, and opened it with a huge bunny smile on his face. The two elders embraced him, the scent of strawberries filled the air as Jungkook hugged back.

"Oh Kookie it's been so long!" The older woman grabbed his hand as he lead them through the hallway to the main sitting area. It was lit with purple lights, tea lights on the surfaces, rose petals in a circle at the center of the room. The room was a romantic gesture from Jungkook to Taehyung, thanks to Jimin, he wouldn't have been able to pull it off.

"Jungkook you did all this for Taehyung?" the male asked, grabbing him by the shoulder as he took in the room.

"Oh course sir," gazing around the room, "I would do anything for him."
The boy felt a light squeeze on his arm as the three took in the site. He lead them towards the patio, where all the guests including Taehyung were instructed to stay.
Two surprises were in store tonight, and he could feel a tingling his stomach as he begun to grow nervous.

Upon reaching the patio, Jimin opened the sliding door assisting the elder woman out. Everyone turned to face the new arrivals, Taehyung included.

A small gasp came from Taehyung as he took in the scene before him; Jungkook was leading his mother and father out to greet him. He could feel the tears burning at the back of his eyes as he walked forward to them.

"'Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?" he took them both into a big hug, allowing the tears to betray him.

"We couldn't miss your end of the year party now could we?" his father asked, patting Taehyung's head. "We are so proud of you son. You both," you reached for Jungkook and brought him into the group.
Taehyung's boxy smile reached his eyes, he had his parents, what more could he ask for?

He noticed Jungkook leaning forward to whisper into his mothers ear, giving him a grin before running off.

What is he up to? Taehyung questioned, but shook the thought away, as his mother started asking about his plans for after graduation.
It felt like hours before Jungkook reappeared, he cleared his throat, "Everyone! I have a huge announcement to make! It's the end of the year, and graduation is upon most of us. I wanted to thank everyone that could be here to celebrate with us. Thank you to Mr. And Mrs. Kim for accepting to be here." He scanned the room, memorizing every face and reaction.

Before he said anymore, he turned to nod towards Yugyeom and Jimin. With that the two slide open the entire screen door as it showed the entirety of the sitting room. Taehyung looked at Jungkook, then back inside as he started forward towards the younger.

"Jungkook..." his voice barley audible, "what is all this?" He couldn't tear away from the rose petals leading to the circle in the middle. Jungkook stepped towards Taehyung, taking his hands into his own, kissing his knuckles lightly. Leading the elder onto the path and into the circle. The quests were in awe at the romantic gesture, some even began to cry. Jimin and Hoseok were off to the side recording and capturing photos from different angles.

"Taehyung," caressing the elders face, he began what could be the most nerve wrecking but greatest speech he'd ever do in his life, "there is so many things I could list that made me fall for you. Your smile, your eyes, the way you pout when you eat, or the way you dance when you're happy," Jungkook chuckled at the memories he held. Taehyung couldn't help but let the tears flow from his eyes as Jungkook stared at them deeply.

"You have shown me true love, you've showed me that I have what it takes to love myself. If you would've told me this would be happening to me 5 years ago, I would have told you, you were lying. But Taehyung, I wouldn't change a thing. I was meant to be with you, to love you, and to cherish you. You've made me into the person I am today. This is supposed to be about love, but I wanted to incorporate your parents, because they raised the person I love today and always, you," he paused, gesturing for the older couple to come closer.

Looking at the three, he knew that they were his family, and that he would do anything for them. "I should have done this a long time ago, but I feel like this is the perfect time," and with a shaky breath Jungkook apologized, "it must have been hard to see your son in a horrible state when he was younger, and for that being my fault, I want to say how truly sorry I am. It was wrong for me to do what I did, I make no excuses for my actions. What I do want to also say is, thank you. Thank you for bringing my beloved into this world and accepting him and his true self."
Taehyung's parents smiled, mourning 'you're welcome' and waving Jungkook back to their soon. An action that caused the two boys to laugh and cry more.

"Taehyung, I've been planning this for a long time," reaching behind him, Jimin presented Jungkook with a tiny black velvet box. He sunk down to one knee, staring into Taehyung's deep brown eyes. A gasp escaped his lips as his jaw dropped to the site before him. Taehyung stared down into Jungkooks wide doe eyes as he opened the box, displaying the most beautiful ring Taehyung has ever seen. It seemed quite familiar.
It was a small white-rose gold band, with leaves leading into a lotus flower, and in the middle of that flower was an ocean blue stone, zircon, Taehyung's birthstone. The ring shimmered in the dim lights, it's beauty radiating. When it finally clicked into Taehyung's head of where he's seen it before, he couldn't help but look up at his mother. Her smile was full of love.

Jungkook cleated his throat, gaining the older attention again, "Taehyung, I love you with all my heart and soul, I will cherish you the way you deserve and more, I promise that I will never betray you. Would you make me the happiest man in the universe? Will you marry—" before Jungkook could finish that sentence, Taehyung fell to his knees wrapping his arms around his neck.

"Yes! Yes Jungkook, a million times yes!" pulling back to kiss Jungkook everywhere, his nose, his forehead, both eyes, and cheeks. Everyone clapped and the flashes of cameras made the ring shine brighter as Jungkook slide it on Taehyung's finger. Cheers erupted and a bottle of champagne was being shaken and popped in the background, curtesy of Jimin. Fireworks were seen outside the patio, confetti cannons were open, as Jungkook lead Taehyung outside for the show.

He wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist as he laid his head on his neck.
"Jungkook you've made me the happiest person ever," Taehyung held the hands of the man he loved the most.

"Taehyung you have my heart, my life, and I can't wait to start the rest of this journey with you," kissing the elders neck, then turning to watch the fireworks. It was the best day of their lives.
