Taehyung POV

The light filtered in from the window, causing me to see nothing but yellow behind my eyelids. It's the day after the party and I'm waking up inside some random frat house? Great. My eyes slowly opening, in-spite of the blinding sun, what am I holding?

What. The. Fuck. There was a sleeping boy in my arms, moving back as if I was burned, he turned. Jungkook.

Why was I hugging Jungkook? I looked down at my shirt, noticing a cool breeze, only to see that it was unbuttoned, my shoes were off; but that was it

Why was I hugging Jungkook? I looked down at my shirt, noticing a cool breeze, only to see that it was unbuttoned, my shoes were off; but that was it. Jungkook wrapped his arm around my waist, causing me to freeze. He was so cute in his sleep, his face inches from mine; I could feel his breath hitting my neck. I gulped. Shit.

How did this happen? I couldn't remember anything that happened the night before, the last thing I could recall was downing shots with Nayeon. After that everything was black. Slowly, I twisted my body out of Jungkooks, sitting up in a random room. Definitely one of the frat house rooms, probably vacant. It was plain blue, with an abandoned desk in the corner, no blinds (that would explain the insane amount of light), and just the full bed in the center which I sat on.

My shirt was creased every which way, hopefully Woo-shik doesn't mind, looking at my pants my belt was still in place. That's good. Pants were still on, shoes we—shoes? Where are my shoes? Glancing around the room, I noticed them neatly placed by the door of the room. Gosh, why did I have to drink so much? My head is throbbing. I had to go, and I had to go quick. Getting up from the bed and tip toeing to your shoes, not realizing that Jungkook had woken up until I heard his voice.

"Where are you going?" Fuck.

The mattress creaked as Jungkook stood up from the bed, "Hey... are you okay?" I'm caught dead in my tracks trying to escape the room.

"Um, morning. I'm good, it's just...there's a class I need to get to and I have no idea what time it is," replying without turning to face him, if he saw the way my cheeks burned with embarrassment, I'm sure he would laugh at me. "I'm sorry about um- last night, I normally don't drink that much. Well ever."

Suddenly Jungkook is behind me, I could feel his heat radiating off of his body as he almost presses himself to me. "Tae—" he whispers, causing the hair on my neck to raise. Movement caught my attention when I saw his shadow, his hands trying to grasp my arms. I jumped. Grabbing my shoes as fast as I could, startling him. "I'm sorry Tae, I just-."

Putting my hands up to stop what he was going to say, "No, no Jungkook, it's okay. I'm just—I don't know. There are things you don't understand. We can't be friends, ever Jungkook," I said a bit rushed and for once I kind of felt bad for saying the words no matter who they were directed to. I could see how they hurt him, the boys eyes lowered to the ground. Pain across his face.

"Is it something I've done? I hardly know you, but there's something about you Tae," his voice barley audible, but enough for me to grasp. Oh, if only you remembered. You seemed like a different person, but I couldn't take that risk. Whatever happened to you, that changed you, I thanked it; but at the same time I wish for once you treated me like you did in high school.
