Allegiant Alternate Ending - Tris doesn't die

Chapter 2

Tobias POV

I burst my way through the door of the (dorm?) and sure enough Caleb was there. I ran up to him shoved him into the wall and demanded, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING, LETTING TRIS GO INSTEAD OF YOU. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

"I'm sorry, she insisted I didn't have time to stop her, the guards were coming!" he wimpered

"Basterd" i muttered as I let him drop to the floor and descided to visit Tris and Christina otherwise people would be visiting Caleb in the infermatry.

~ Time Lapse ~

The last few days have been terrible, I have hardly slept and when I do it's just nightmares about Tris going into the Weapons Lab or having her die in the hospital bed when I haven't even had a chance to say goodbye.

Christina POV

After Four heard the news, he started sprinting towards the infirmatry with me close at his heels. But when I got there he stormed out, I guess it was just too much for him, so here I am with my best friend beside me, she was always the strong one but now I had to be strong for her and I didn't know how I was going to cope. With Tris next to me and a stream of salty tears running down my face I thought about all those that I had lost, Will, Al, Uriah, Marlene and now Tris. I couldn't let her be taken away from me just as they were. I had heard the doctors say that when someone is in a coma they can hear you, so I did the only thing I could, I talked.

Tris POV 

I knew I was being weak but it was hard to keep fighting, the crushing weight daring me to give up, I didn't know how much longer I could make it. Then I faintly heard Chrstina talking to me, begging me to stay, I heard Tobias walk into the room and thank her for being there, and as he held my fragile and and told me how much he loved me. I was reminded of the reason I had to keep fighting. So I focoused on Tobias's hand in mine, fought back the darkness and opened my eyes into the light.
