Mal went to her locker where Audrey, Chad, and Ben happened to be at that time she didn't really notice them

"that girl is trouble," Audrey said looking at Mal as she put all her books in her locker Chad nodded

"They all are" Chad agreed Ben sighed

"come on guys just give them a chance," the soon-to-be-king said they heard Mal start humming a song looking through a book

"I bet that's a spellbook" Audrey whispered that's when Mal head snapped up and put the book that was in her hand into her locker slammed her locker door closed the three friends looked up at the girl, she ran past the three and headed to who knows where 

"where do you think she went," Chad asked his friends shrugged they followed after the young girl they saw that she had accidentally bumped into Melody daughter Ariel and Eric she's only a year older than Mal 

"I'm so sorry I didn't see you" Mal apologies

"It's ok" Melody forgave her

"um where is your music room," the younger girl asked

"I can show you where it is" Melody grabbed her hand dragging Mal with her to the music room 

the three friends continued to follow

Once they got to the music Ben, Audrey and Chad snuck into the room without being seen

"May I stay, "Melody asked Mal nodded brushing her fingers on the piano keys she sat down at the piano got out her songbook and started playing

"Chad record this" Audrey whispered to the boy on her left he got out his phone and started recording
