Chapter eight

"Lauren! Why didn't you let me give Tom a polybeatdown? I thought we had a plan!" Dinah says to me disappointed.

"Shhh, Dinah do you want the whole school to know?" I whisper to her especially being in the cafeteria, people are always wanting to find out about any drama going on in the school.

"How did you not even get caught by other teachers?" She asked me looking at me with a curious face.

"I don't know, I was just getting out of class and I saw him, and all I saw was red. I mean at least he got what he deserved, hopefully he stays away now."

"Yeah that's true. Are you going to go visit Camila right now?"

"Yeah, I'm going to go check up on her, she's been texting me, apparently her mom took her charger."

The bell rang signaling that lunch was over, and we were heading back to our last class.

Camila pov

After I woke up from my nap, I didn't see Lauren or Dinah here but instead I saw my parents.

"Mija!" My mom says, running up to my bed, giving me a hug.

"Ow mami, my ribs are broken!" I winced, making my mom frown. Oh god, here we go.

"Oh my god mija, are you okay? Did I hurt you? Do I need to call the doct-"

"Mami calm down, I'm fine, just don't hug me or squeeze me and i'm okay." I chuckled, she's always so protective of me but she worries a bit too much.

"Ok, I brought your phone charger, since I know you can't live without your phone."

"Stop being dramatic mami, yes I can."

"A ver pues dame tú teléfono. (Alright then, give me your phone)" I hand over my phone and then I remember I was texting Lauren.

"Mami can I have my phone back? Please?" My dad barely realizing he was there, starts laughing along with my mom. After the laughter died down, he was oddly quiet, and seemed to have an angry expression on his face. My mom hands me my phone back and I notice 3 messages from Lauren and 1 from Dinah.

China (6:30 pm): We had to leave Mila, cause your parents basically kicked us out. See you later, bye bitch. *imaginary hair flip*

Lolo 💖(7:30 pm): Hey Camz, we had to leave but I'll visit you tomorrow afterschool. As soon as I can. I love you camzi ❤

Lolo 💖(8:00 pm): Camz?

Lolo 💖:(8:45 pm) Wait, your phone is probably dead, isn't it. *facepalm*

I laugh looking down at my phone and I hear my dad clear his throat. I look up and see him staring at me expectantly. I put my phone down and hear what he has to say.

"Mija, look we know what happened, Lauren told us everything. That a person punched you and that she saw you fall. Please be honest with us and tell us who did this to you."

I start panicking, since I started to get flashbacks of the person who hit me. I started to feel like if the walls were closing in on me. I started to see blurry, trying to get rid of those memories but felt the space getting more and more smaller. It was all a blur to me, due to my concussion the doctor said that it might cause a slight memory loss.

"Mija, calm down, we don't want you to get a panic attack, breathe with me." I started doing my breathing exercises, and finally felt myself calming down a bit.

"I- I don't remember." I look down at the table where I was previously eating my disgusting hospital food, and I started to see my hands shaking slightly.

"Ok, we will let this subject go, we won't push you, but you have got to tell us who did this to you, so we could report them to the police." My mother said. I look down and nod my head, starting to get a headache. However, my dad seemed to get more and kept pushing me to try to get me to remember.

"CAMILA, You better not be hiding anything from us and be pretending that you don't remember because the moment we find out you were lying to us, you know that is a sin to God." I also forgot to mention, my parents are very religious and take everything very seriously, one of the reasons I haven't came out to them. Oddly enough they are accepting of Lauren since she is bisexual. I guess they don't want to see their daughter as an abomination.

"I'm not hiding anything papá, I really don't remember. If I remembered anything you guys would be the first ones to know ok?" I saw my dad starting to calm down and his face turning back into a soft expression.

"Okay, I believe you mija, te queremos mucho (We love you a lot)." My dad came up to me and hugged me.

Lauren pov

I hear the bell ring signaling the end of class. Finally, I thought, that class was taking forever. I can finally go see Camz.

"Lauren!" I hear someone shouting from behind me. I turn around realizing it was Dinah with Normani, they were walking towards me holding hands. They make a cute couple I thought. Maybe Camila and I can be a couple one day. Wait what? I just got out of a relationship with Lucy why am I thinking about Camz? Calm down Lauren, she probably doesn't even like you that way.

"What's up, Dinah?" I ask her finally snapping out of my thoughts.

"I was just going to tell you that Normani and I are going on a date so we will catch up with you later at the hospital."

"Ok no worries, I'll be there the whole day probably. Have fun on your date."

"Thank you Laur." Dinah and Normani walk away and I start heading to my locker to put my books away when I hear the loud speaker.

"Lauren Jauregui, please come to the main office now."

Ugh, what do they want now. Wait, they might have found out of the fight with Tom, Shit.

I put my books away and start walking towards the office. I hope I'm not that in trouble, or else I would really get my ass beat. I walked into the office when the secretary noticed me and said to head straight to the principal's office.

"Ms. Jauregui take a seat please." Mr. Herald. With his slicked back hair, and his black suit on, looking at me with a stern expression on his face. I took a seat and waited for him to start talking.

"So, I assume you know what happened with Tom right?" Shit, he knows who told him? I really doubt Tom would snitch he's not the type to do that, especially with his ego.

"Um yes I do." I say with a shaky voice. Why am I nervous, what I did to him served him right. He did worse to Camila.

"Well, I called your parents, informing them that you will be suspended for the rest of the week, and will come back next Monday. I don't know the whole story, only one person who witnessed came up and confessed to me the fight between you and Tom." I just nod my head not really knowing what to say.

"Is there anything else you would like to share? I shake my head saying no and in that instant, I start feeling my phone vibrating.

"Okay Lauren, well you are excused, and I do not want to see you at all here during school time this week. I will get one of your classmates to give you the rest of your classwork so you won't be behind. Have a good day."

"Yes sir, thank you, have a good day."

I speed walked out into the parking lot and took out my phone. It was Camz calling me.

"Hallo?"

"Hey lolo. Are you going to come visit me today?" I could feel that she's smiling that beautiful smile through the phone.

"Yes, I am, I'm heading there now."

"Okay then see you later Lolo." She hung up and I started walking towards my car. The whole way to the hospital I kept thinking about Camila and also Lucy. I have always had feelings for Camila, but then I started dating Lucy and it helped me get over Camila. Now, I'm stuck with feelings for both of them. I'm still in love with Lucy, and it angers me what she did to me. I will get my revenge, somehow. Maybe, even get her back.
