Happy Birthday

"Suna found the Kazekage body?" Minato sat in the room with his Jounin Sensei's, and obviously being accompanied by Madara, who sat on the couch annoyed that he wasn't in the bed with Naruto. That question was asked by Kakashi, Minato's prodigy.

"They did, and they broke ties with Otogakure, while Otogakure isn't participating in the Chunin exams anymore, Iwagakure will be. Now we also have bad blood with them." Minato stated and Madara rolled his eyes.

"However, the three of us sat up and worked a treaty, its why I'm just now returning home, so in two weeks, the Chunin exams will proceed without a hitch." Minato said and some woman spoke.

"Hokage-Sama, is it true that you are allowing some no name civilian participate in the Chunin exams?" A hush falls over the jounin, and Minato looked to Madara to see him looking positively upset.

"His name is Naruto Uchiha, and he will be participating, I mean I did train him." Madara said calmly, while everybody looked to him, Madara exhaled and spoke again.

"Naruto is my wife, he isn't some no name civilian so watch how you speak about him. He wants to be a Chunin, and he will be one." Madara said and there was a voice.

"Ah, how is the little bundle of anger doing?" Madara looked as Yamato sat next to him, the only man in the village that could calm the older male down.

"He's fine, it's his birthday so I really want to be home with him, instead I'm being briefed on this Chunin exams and telling Jounins not to speak about my wife in discontent." Madara said and Yamato sighed and looked to the Jounins, then to the Hokage.

"So now that, that is over with. I assume every team will be nominating there Genin, and Madara will be nominating Naruto." Everybody nodded, and even Madara. Minato handed out the tickets, and dismissed everybody.

Two weeks couldn't come fast enough.

Madara and Yamato walked to Madara's home, seeing as it was Naruto's birthday. Madara has the perfect gift for Naruto all done in one room, it was hard getting Naruto out of the house to complete the room, however it was done and Madara places a seal on it, however Naruto surely noticed.

He was a seal master.

Madara just felt pride bubble in him whenever he thinks about what Naruto accomplished in a short five months, to master the basics, and then master everything you wanted to master, and then take it to the level Madara was on in the last month, it made Madara proud.

He wasn't sure if it's because Naruto could finally prove the people who said this would be impossible wrong.

Or because Madara knew when he met Naruto that he would be extraordinary Ninja.

When Madara opened his door, Naruto was sitting on the couch dressed. He stood up, and walked to Madara, offering a small greeting to Yamato.

"Did you want to go out instead?" Madara asked looking at Naruto's clothing, Naruto shook his head, and pulled Madara to the training ground.

"Can we have a spar? Please." Naruto said, and Madara really couldn't say no. He was a sucker for that blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Yeah, you wanna go all out?" Naruto has already slammed a seal on a wall that acted as a barrier.

"Please, I want to see how I measure up against the strongest man in the lands." Naruto said and Madara nodded.

He had everything on him, so it was only a matter or time. Yamato knew this was going to be in intense fight, sitting on the back porch he watched as they seemingly moved at once.

A resounding clanking of metal was heard throughout the Uchiha home, however none of the Uchiha's were fazed by it. Over and over, and over and Naruto felt so alive, Madara managed to knock the sword out of Naruto's hand before activating his Sharigan. Moving to slice Naruto, Madara was shocked when lines, covered Naruto and he broke his sword with a single punch to it.

Madara jumped back, dodging the punches that came at him. Madara smiles calmly. Naruto was an amazing at Taijutsu. It was kind of scary, switching his eyes to Mangekyō he started oozing a deep blue chakra.

Both men knew Genjutsu was going to get them no where, and so Naruto started allowing Nature chakra to flow into him, in the midst of battle, and begun flowing a golden hue.

It was evenly matched, so much so Yamato thought it could go either way, and Naruto thought he had it in the bag, but he ultimately forgot he had two powerful techniques, that he didn't think to use, and that would be his downfall.

Madata ultimately knew Naruto forgot he had his clams chains and Wood release, he realized he forgot that when Naruto slipped he took that opportunity to tie him up with rope, not chakra restraining, but Naruto sat there, tied and pouting as Madara panted catching his breathe.

"That was a good match, so much so you destroyed your backyard." Yamato said, looking at the duo. Madara sat down, leaning back and looking at the sky.

"You did wonderful." Naruto pouted and ripped his arms from the rope, before sitting on Madara's lap, exhaling.

"I totally thought I had you this time." Naruto said and Madara chuckled, while Yamato left waving and promising to stop by again before the exams.

"You would've, but you forgot about your lineage." Naruto frowned and then pouted when he realized.

"Wood release and my Adamantine Chains." Naruto said and Madara nodded.

"You can't forget, all are essential tools for you, and our future children. If they inherit them." Naruto smiled and nodded.

"I have something to show you." Madara said and Naruto got all happy and jumped off Madara, helping him up as Madara led him to the room he sensed the seal on, closing his eyes, Madara opened the door and spoke.

"You can open them." Naruto did as he was told, and opened his eyes. His eyes widened, this was the first nice thing Madara had done, and it was beautiful.

"It's cute, but shouldn't we have a girl room too?." Naruto said but his eyes landed on a box as Madara spoke.

"It's across the hall." Naruto nodded and squatted, it was a big red box, he opened the lid and saw a big fox plushie, it had nine tails. He took out the plushy Kurama and looked under it. It was a book, nothing on the cover, it looked like a journal.

Opening the first page, Naruto started crying.

You must be older if you found this book. That must also mean I died somewhere along the way. I hope you can forgive me. This is a journal of my life, and how I fell in love with Minato, as crazy as I am. This is our life, hopefully after I die, he will discover how truly thankful I was to him, that he blessed me with such a beautiful child.

"Madara I love it." Naruto said once he wiped his tears, Madara leaned down and brought Naruto into a hug.

"I only read the first page." Madara said and Naruto smiled.

"Do you want to read it together?" Naruto asked but then both of their stomachs rumbled.

"After dinner." Madara said and Naruto nodded. Madara leaned down to kiss Naruto before speaking.

"Happy birthday."
