Chapter Seven.

"Gooooaaallll! Just minutes into the first half and Akari-san has already  scored the first goal! What a truly amazing striker and captain indeed!"

The smirk on Akari's face was undeniable. It could seen from miles away and even a blind person can feel it and a deaf person hear it. The said blunette flipped her hair before high fiving one of her teammates as she walked back to her team's side of the pitch.

"Still same old Akari huh?" A boy with spiky and slightly messy white hair smirked beside her.

"What do you think?" Akari said, "I have to win this match whether I am nice or ruthless. That's the whole point isn't it?"

"Now now you don't want to be sounding like Kageyama Reiji, now do you?"

"Shut it you annoying worm, that's not what I meant."

The white haired boy, also known as Akira Hyousuke, laughed at her. Him and Akari went way back, they were basically knowm as the 'Dynamic Duo' because they were unstoppable together. They were partners in crime ever since they were in diapers. This of course brought an unnecessary hatred towards the poor boy from the male friends Akari has made for the past days.

"Okay don't hurt me your highness." Hyousuke mocked earning a snarl and a change of eye colour from the blunette.

The whistle blew again and they were off. In a few seconds, as predicted, Akari had already stolen the ball from the opposing team and was headed straight for the goal. Akira, who was already used to the girl's speed, ran beside her, smirking as usual.

"Hey don't hog all the fun, pass the ball!"

Akari rolled her eyes but passed it anyways, "Better not let that go to waste you dingus."

"On it!" The boy gave a two fingered salute before his own eyes flashed a shade of red before going back to it's original hazel.

Akira ran even faster which was basically unpredicted by the others. He kicked the ball in the air, allowing it to enfulged in a red and black light. The boy jumped after it and gave it a mighty backflip kick.

"Dark Vortex!"

And off the ball was. Straight towards the goal. Although the goal keeper was scared shitless of the incoming attack, he got into a ready stancing ready to catch the ball but just as it was about to reach into his hands the ball disappeared, confusing him, his fellow teammates and the spectators.

"Oh my where did the ball go?! It just disappeared!!"

"Wait for it..." Akira raised a finger, very amused.

Akari rolled her eyes at her fun loving friend but nonetheless a smile made it's way to her face. With her hands on her hips, a grin spread across her face as the whistle, signalling that Akira had just made a goal and they just got another point. The goalkeeper and the defenders were having an episode, wondering how in the world did the ball get behind the net in the first place.

Akari raised her arm in the air, her palm wide open and a few seconds later another palm connected with hers, "Are you pleased your majesty?"

"Very. Now zip it you moron."

Another insult delivered.

It was the end of the first half and the score was 5-0 already. Akari and Akira have been working side by side scoring all the goals. They truly were the most unstoppable duo they've ever seen.

"Here." Akira chucked a water bottle at the blunette who caught it with her eyes closed. Literally.

With the her leg on top of the other and the arms behind her head, Akari was the definition of savage. It was very obvious how a major change in personalities is seen whenever Akari is on the field and when she's with her friends off it. Her confidence is sky rocketing, she's ruthless and scores without letting anyone touch the ball, she leads with power and authority that makes it almost impossible to defy her mainly because she's never wrong and if anyone does defy her she becomes hella scary.
