Alie knew a lot about Oliver. It wasn't like she had to stalk him around and hack into his facebook account. Everybody knew about Oliver. Because he was extremely popular.

Oliver had two brothers older than him. And each of them had found a place in the school that is Pag-asa High.

Oliver was inclined to the arts. He painted. He danced too and did it really well. He even had a youtube channel for his covers. Alie obviously was a subscriber. He was a star in tiktok too. So even though he was mainly into painting, people mostly knew him as a social media star. He liked the attention and the fame, Alie was sure of it.

His vlogs has got ads embedded in them so he already earned a fortune through sheer talent. And yes, Alie never skipped an ad. Never did not see them to the end. It was her own anonymous way of supporting him.

Just like now. It was twelve midnight. But her dose of Oliver was still not enough. Her phone shone above her eyes. Her wide forehead glinted with blue light. She kept rewatching his videos like a drug.

"He looked better up close," she giggled. Indeed, an Oliver in-person was always better than an Oliver on screen. She still remembered the smell of his cologne.

"Ate Alie," her brother Drew called from the other bed, "Maybe you can use your headphones? It's the middle of the night!"

"It's broken. The cord got twisted again."

"Then, turn the sound down at least, guh. You always sleep with headhones on, no wonder it broke."

Oliver had once talked in his earlier vlogs that he aspired to be an architect. But he joked that if he couldn't make it, then he could always do some twerking.

Oh, he did a twerk in a tiktok video. And as always, he still looked cool and sexy in it. It was like an irremovable attribute of him.

In one of his videos, he featured his genius brother Matthew and his apparent lack of kinesthetic intelligence.

Between the two of them, Alie had gotten more physically proximate with Matthew. He had been in the same curriculum as hers - the one that prioritized Math and Science and Engineering. Matthew excelled in academic competitions. A month wouldn't pass without a new congratulatory tarpaulin with his name on it hanging at the walkways. He was already in senior high school but still near her building. He moved extremely awkward in the vlog though. He would often shout at Oliver for forcing him to dance in the video.

The only reason he did what he did was because he lost in a bet with Oliver. It was about the NBA playoffs and Matthew's Boston Celtics got dumped early on.

And the eldest brother was already a graduate two years before Alie entered high school. His name was Peter. He was the leader type. He got featured in Oliver's vlogs a lot because he was incredibly bubbly and outspoken. He was the Student Government President for three years which meant that he first got elected into the position in his second year in high school.

Clearly, he was destined to be a manager in some bigshot company. All three of them were, if not greater.

Thinking about them, Alie got to muse about her own road to take. What could she possibly be good at? Does studying count? She was proudly good at it.

Drew was excellent at getting to her nerves so someday he'd probably be a lawyer. Not that he upheld justice and the truth. Her brother was really good at winning in a brother-sister argument. And of course, there's also the fact that Dad would more often than not take his side.

As for Alie, what would she really want to be?
