Lost.

The princess of power slashed her blade forward only for the force captain to cartwheel away again.

"Give it up, Catra." She motioned to the rest of the battlefield.

Catra dared to take a look at it. Ash and cinder rained Bright Moon's front moat. All of the horde bots had already been demolished, soldiers beaten up or retreating. Even Scorpia was unable to battle, tied up by princess Nettossa. The war as a whole wasn't over yet,  but this battle was nearing its end. Catra was the only one left fighting. Unfortunately, she was known to not knowing how to stop. These signs meant nothing to her, she still wasn't defeated.

"And who says I'm ready to give up?" She threw herself onto her, claws first, but the 7-foot princess managed to dodge her. Catra yelped as she fell to the moat facefirst, soaking wet. She turned herself around only to find a sharp blade centimeters away from her throat.

Adora- Shera's, sword was pointed up to Catra's chin.

"You've lost. You can't run away now."

The rest of the princesses began to surround her. Adora was right. She had nowhere to run. She couldn't escape. There really was no way to wiggle out.

"wait, no!"

"You're coming to the castle. Now."  a glittery voice demanded.

----

Catra began pacing in the palace's prison (other room) while the princesses discussed outside of locked doors what to do with her.

How was this possible?

Bright Moon should have been weak, it should have been still in mourning for their queen Angella. They couldn't have been ready. That should have been to their advantage. But their late queen's death only founded a spark in the rebellion. She remembered Queen Glimmer's glare at her at the battlefield. Her eyes were fierce with rage. A fiery rage that could light a thousand suns. A murderous rage. She wanted to kill.

She heard a sudden outrage from the princesses in their discussion. An interesting idea was brought up. She held her ear close to the door to find out what.

"Glimmer, nO-" Adora exclaimed, "You're joking, right?!?"

"What? No, everyone, stop looking at me like that! It's only fair! If you ask me, it's a very just punishment!"

Adora and her friend squawked in disbelief.

"Murder isn't okay!"

"Bow's right. Execution will NEVER be just, Glimmer. That's something the Horde would do! We're the good guys! Killing is bad!"

"On certain occassions-"

"Under no circumstance!"

Glimmer began to utter her words. "Adora, you may like her because of the whole childhood friend thing but this is too much! You still love your childhood best friend, and there's nothing wrong with that, but this isn't your run of the mill kindergarten buddy! It's Catra we're talking about! Catra the evil-horde-force-captain! She's been at our throat for weeks! She was the one who opened the portal, Adora! And she actively tried to stop you from closing it too!"

"There's good in her, I swear!"

"Adora-"

"Glimmer, please, why can't you just-"

"Adora, if it wasn't for her, my mom would still be here."

The room went silent. The former Queen's death was still fresh.

Catra, however, regretted nothing. So Angella got in the way of her plan, big whoop. She didn't get why everyone was so sensitive about the subject. It was going to be great, but she stopped her, so for all Catra cared, Angella deserved it. You get what you get.

"I can make her change, I swear-"

"No, you can't" Catra interrupted from the other side of the door.

Adora opened the door. Catra crossed her arms.

"I don't think you heard correctly. They want to kill you, Catra."

"So what? Let them have it"

"Do you really not care?!?"

"Well, what else can I do? Betray the Horde? Like you did?"

She groaned. "I did it because it's the right thing to do. And I know you have the good in you to turn too."

"Well, I don't. So you can just let me die now."

"nOBODY is gonna die!"Bow exclaimed through voice cracks.

Adora turned to Glimmer. "Give me two months. Let me see if I can turn her."

"Adora... she's done so much, to me, to you, to all of us. And she doesn't want to seem to change." She winced.

"Please. Just a month or two won't hurt anybody. If she doesn't get better until then... you can... you can do whatever you want" she gulped.

Glimmer thought hard.

"Fine."

"Thank you, Glimmer. She's gonna change, I promise"

Catra scoffed.
