"okay, fine. you can come."

-

sora and taehyung are in the train, waiting for their stop. sora sat while taehyung remained standing in front of her even though there are a lot of seats available. they remained silent, not speaking to each other. god knows what they both went through together.

"how are you?" sora asked him, breaking the ice. "fine, you?" he asked back. "wait, no. of course you're not fine," he took back the question, knowing the answer. "i'm actually good, i think." taehyung looked at her with a questioning look.

"it's 'cause i feel like i lived my life to the fullest," she stated. "i was able to eat delicious food, travel some countries, make friends with the best people, and i was able to love and be loved," she said. "there's one thing i regret though."

"what is it?" taehyung asked.

"you have arrived at gilmore station."

"we're here," she said.

they both went outside the train station and went inside a bus. they sat down together.

"i'm glad we were able to ride a bus around this time. usually, it's very hard to ride one," sora stated. "when there isn't one, what do you ride?" taehyung asked. "i have to ride a taxi to get there. it'll cost me a lot of money," she answered. taehyung chuckled. "i can imagine your frustration."

sora started to cough. she took out her handkerchief out of her bag and continued to cough there. taehyung starts to grow worried with what she's experiencing right now. the coughs finally died down. sora stared at her handkerchief covered with blood to which taehyung noticed.

"we have to get you to the hospital," taehyung said worriedly. "silly, we are going to the hospital." sora laughed a bit, but stopped abruptly as soon as she felt a sharp pain around her chest and diaphragm. this made her pull out a pained expression. "are you okay? does it hurt?" he asked. "you shouldn't have come to us in the first place. it would only exhaust you. you could've just contacted us to come to you," he scolded her.

"well, tell me— would you and the others really come if i told you to go to our uni? you're all so busy. you'd only come when it's too late," she rebutted. this made taehyung silent. "i'm sorry," he whispered, but still audible for the girl to hear.

"anyway, i guess i exceeded the time limit a bit. i'm going to be fine," she answered him with a smile on her face, trying to cover up the fact that she's in pain. but it only appeared as a grimace of discomfort.

"well, you don't seem fine," he said. "i know you, sora. you don't have to hide anything from me," he added. sora remained silent.

"lay on my shoulder. sleep for a little bit. i honestly don't know how to make you feel better," he sighed. "but can you at least rest? i'd wake you up when we've arrived. it would give both of us a peace of mind," he stated. sora just smiled at him and complied.

"thank you, taehyung. you're still so kind."
