Asher's POV (Flashback)

"You're never around anymore", she yelled.

"Babe please understand that football is important", I said.

"Our relationship is important too Asher. You stopped calling. You put football first. You gave up on us", she said while crying.

I tried to give her a hug but she pushed me away.

"I don't think this is gonna work anymore", she said. I saw the pain in her eyes.

"Y/N please don't say that. Baby I need you", I said.

"Goodbye Asher", She said.

Within seconds she was gone. I felt tears fall down my cheeks.

-A week later-

Y/N POV

It's been a week since I broke up with Asher. I haven't seen him since that day. I miss him but I can't be with him. Football was always first. I walked down the halls at school and saw Spencer and Jordan.

"Hey Y/N how have you been", Jordan asked?

"Im okay I guess. How's Asher", I asked?

"He's not doing good. He misses you and he's a mess without you", Spencer said.

I felt my heart break. I needed to see him. I want him back.

"Do you know where he is", I asked?

"He's at the cafe", Jordan said.

"Okay thank you", I said.

I drove to the cafe and walked in. I walked to the back and saw him.

"Asher", I said.

He looked up. He looked hurt.

The look in his eyes broke my heart. I just wanted to hug him.

"I'm sorry Y/N. Your always number 1 to me and I'm sorry that I didn't show you that. I love you and being without me has made me realize how much I need you", he said.

"I love you too Asher", I said.

I walked up to him and kissed him. He kissed me back.

"I love you sooo much", he said while he cupped my face.

"I love you more", I said.
