being the school's cheer captain always drew attention to tine, though he wasn't your stereotypical cheer captain bitch.

he was the opposite, being the quiet nerd who is secretly a freak when he performs. it was a guilty pleasure when he would dress up in his uniform and then put on the heavy stage makeup.

most people are amazed at the sudden change of character when he performs. he's more flexible than any girl on the team and has had the least experience, though he had the talent.

other schools only use good-looking girls as cheer captains so that they gain more attention, is what tine noticed during their cheerleading competition.

he felt bad, thinking if those are what those girls genuinely wanted to do or if they just did it for the sake of fame.

recently, he had a girl of the team leave because she didn't want to be a cheerleader, but instead, she wanted to be part of the art club. tine supported her, cheering her to pursue her dream.

he made sure that everyone wasn't forced into this sport. he didn't want people to be uncomfortable when they perform.

most students of the school notice how win is never drawn to popularity nor fame. he's always remained humble, with his three idiotic friends who continue to support the latter till the end of time.

he was quite athletic as well, playing both football, or soccer as you would in some countries, and volleyball, taking the love of the sport from his brother, type.

he would volunteer every once in a while if he gets the chance, but usually, he always stuck with cheerleading.

tine walked through the halls of his school, adjusting his glasses that almost slipped off of his nose. "i really need to buy those oil-absorbing pads that green keeps talking about," he made a mental note as he felt how greasy his face was, especially his nose.

as he turned the corner, his face bumped into someone's chest. stunned, he stables his balance before bowing, embarrassed of what had just happened.

"my bad! i didn't mean for that too happen," he apologized, looking up at the latter. his expression changed from scared to confused. was he a new student? he asked himself as he admired the unfamiliar fellow infront of him.

the taller only replied with a scoff, rolling his eyes and walking away.

"forgive him. he's just not having a good day," said one of his friends. now he's familiar because this is the guy that his brother had been drooling over for a while now. i think his name was...woman? man? he couldn't remember.

tine just nodded, trying to forget the rude attitude that he just encountered.

he entered his class, a few girls whispering as he entered the classroom.

he sat down in a chair at the back, putting his back down. he took off his glasses and saw how dirty they were. "how are you able to see through those?" asked a familiar girl. "it's a talent, earn." tine replied, putting his glasses back on his face.

"so, got any plans for today?" he shook his head. "exams just ended, which means a new semester and the next cheer competition is next month so i pretty much just practice and study for the time being," earn nodded, putting her guitar down.

"hey, since you said that you didn't have a club yet, how about joining the music club?" she smiled, handing over a flyer. tine thought about it. he had nothing else to do except train for cheerleading and study a bunch of useless lessons. why not give the music club a go?

he nodded, accepting the flyer.

"great! we'll go together later after classes," she smiled, thanking tine before going back to her seat.

when the time reached for lunch time, tine was practically dead at this point. his teacher's voice was boring him to sleep and he couldn't even focus on the discussion itself.

"oi, get up. we're starving," he heard fong speak. "give me a second," tine groaned, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder.

the four left the classroom, making their way to where they usually sit during break times. "i heard that you're joining the music club," said pheuk, opening a bag of chips.

"yeah. who told you?" he asked, looking around. "i overheard one of the students talk about it on the way to class." he replied, chewing on a potato chip.

"people really can't mind their damn business, can't they?" tine groaned, massaging his temples. "i also heard that you bumped into sarawat this morning,"

what is with people and gossip?!

he was confused onto who this sarawat guy was before realizing who it was. rolling his eyes, his memory averting back to the rude latter he met this morning. "yeah, he was an absolute prick." tine replied, scoffing. "shh!" they all shushed him. "what? it's true." he shrugged.

"watch what you say about him!" fong whisper-yelled at the latter. "why? is he some kind of heavenly saint in this school?" tine for sure didn't know about his rude person and his status in this school, more or less because he minded his own fucking business.

"well yea! that guy you bumped into? he's the exchange student from england!" replied ohm, spurting out some food in the process. "manners!" exclaimed fong as he flicked his forehead.

ohm whined, rubbing the spot when he got hit.

"so? does that make him almighty zeus or something?" tine didn't know they hype about this guy. he was rude and arrogant at first glance.

sure he was devilishly handsome and hot but that couldn't make up for the fact that he's an actual asshat...unless you're really fucking thirsty for some dick then sure.

the three nodded at his question even though is was a rhetorical one.

tine rolled his eyes.

"look, the only person i would be on my knees for is jesus christ when i go to church, okay?" he subsided the fact that he wasn't christian but what he said was to make a point.

why would he kneel and drool over some dick bag who has such a bad attitude?

"not that ridiculously handsome prick," he spat. his friends gave him a look of fear, which he shrugged off.

"anyway, i'm going back to class, see y'all la-" he bumped into someone again.

"i'm sorry-"

his eyes met a pair of dark ones, staring right through his eyeballs.

"handsome prick, huh?" tine felt himself melting on the inside, but he tried to remain calm, staring right back at the taller.

as sarawat blinked, tine clapped his hands. "hah, you blinked, i win!" he mocked before walking away.

sarawat furrowed his brows as he watched the latter walk away. "this bitch is done for," fong cried silently as he watched the other male walk away from them, following tine.

as tine turned a corner, he let out a sigh, leaning on a locker.

"well i'm fucked,"
