CHAPTER 4

After breakfast, me and Caleb had walked around where all the brainwashed people were.

I tried to find if he had caught any of my friends. But I couldn't see any. Until this see through thing came through. A picture of a person "Jamie?" I whispered. And it had said that she had just been caught.

No no no no no!! They've caught her. Wait... Caleb's right beside me so who had control of her now?

"We have numerous people working here, I'm sorry you had to see that about Jamie being caught and things." Caleb stopped and turned to me.

I looked at him. Then looked away.

"No one deserves to have their soul, or memory taken. You shouldn't do this. It's not right." I couldn't look at him. I was too scared and water started appearing in my eyes

I looked into his blue/green eyes.

"All these people... What are going to do to them? We are humans we are not experiments! And if you don't agree then I don't know who to trust because apparently I'm surrounded by soulless and heartless people!" I walked again in anger.

Caleb gripped my arm before I could even get my third step.

"I can't control what happens around here. And I do agree, we're not experiments," he came closer towards me and faced me. "I'm sorry I had to chase you. I'm sorry for putting you through all this. I really am sorry, but I can't let you go because god knows what you'll do." He leaned closer and whispered in my ear.

"I'm sorry. Just please forgive me for my mistakes and I will take care of you and your friends." Caleb walked away leaving me there.

"And if I don't?" I shouted before he left. "Try it and see what happens but I guarantee it won't be good"

That ass hole, of course it wouldn't be good. I want to punch him right there in the stomach but I held a grudge and just couldn't.

I wasn't going to take the risk of getting killed. I went back to my room and thought I should sleep. 'Promise' his words seem so truthful so trustworthy, but I couldn't go weak now.

Ha. Another one caught. That's just so sad. 'Caught by Caleb'. And he said he agreed with me about the human experiment thing.what a liar!
