Maha covered her mouth as she saw the student lying on the floor dead. Alexa started crying, Ani was just staring and I held in my laughter while looking around for a way out. Whoever was running out to the exit must've gotten shot.

"Guys, into the infirmary!" I shouted while pointing at the infirmary beside us.

We hurried in. Just as I was about to close the door, another girl pushed her way into the infirmary. "You could've-" I mumbled.

C'mon Scar, who would say "excuse me" in a time like this!? I thought to myself as I closed the door and locked it.

"Kay, now is everyone-" I stopped. I noticed blood on the ground. I looked up and noticed that Alexa had gotten shot in the shoulder.

I quickly grabbed the bandages and a cloth. I asked Alexa to sit on one of the beds then, I placed the cotton pad, wrapped the bandage around it and tied the cloth on the wound for pressure.

"owww" Alexa exclaimed on agony.

"Sorry Alexa, just-... Just deal with it first ok?" I said, trying to comfort her. "Your lucky... It just missed your humerus and I'm telling you it ain't funny"

I heard a small laugh. It was comming from Ani. She and I loved puns. We'd usually watch Undertale and learn puns from Sans.

I looked at the girl who pushed her way in earlier. That familiar face brings back many memories. She was my bully since Year 1. Though, she was Ani's friend now. So I gave her chances. But she still makes my blood boil whenever she talks.

"So, how's her arm? I know she got shot but if you ask me I think she's just overreacting," that girl stated.

My fists clenched, my blood boiled higher than 80 degrees. "YOU THINK SHE'S WHAT!? TRY GETTING SHOT IN THE SHOULDER!" I barked. I was furious.

Deep breathes, Scar. Deep breathes.

"Woah, sorry. I'm just stressed out ok?" she said as she rolled her eyes.

Ani and Maha were staring but they got over it and went to check on Alexa who was lying on the bed.

"Sorry for snapping at you Heidi," I said looking down. No reply.

We all lightened up when we heard sirens from outside. Heidi was just about to walk out when I stopped her "Wait!"

Good thing I did. We heard gun shots and some grenade explosions as the siren faded away. "We could've gotten out!" Heidi barked at me.

What was she at that time? Deaf, stupid or both? "There were gunshots! If we'd gone out we would've gotten killed," I said to Heidi in the calmest way possible.

Heidi kept quiet. The whole room was quiet. I broke the silence by stating that we're gonna need food. "Then let's go!" Heidi said sitting off the chair.

I face-palmed myself. "We can't all go. Alexa's arm is injured and someone needs to take care of her," I said trying not to call Heidi dumb.

"It's just her arm, let's just go and be quick" she argued back.

"She's... Sorry to say... Is gonna be slowing us down! Plus we're gonna need to come back here anyways. Who knows how dangerous it could be?"

"I'll go with you, Scar," Ani interrupted our argument.

"Okay. Heidi and Maha, you stay here with Alexa," I ordered.

"You sound like you're some kind of leader in this group," Heidi said sarcastically.

I ignored the statement and slowly opened the door and looked around. There was no one in sight. I went out and signalled Ani to follow. We headed to the sports room first. I grabbed two bags that contained balls in it. Me and Ani emptied those bags and headed towards the canteen running quietly. The way there had bodies of students and teachers and lots of blood. I actually let out a small giggle when I saw them. What can I say? We're all phsycopaths.

When we reached the canteen, we saw a guy sitting on the bench staring at the screen of his phone. I snuck up behind him and slowly took the pistol that he had placed on the table. He turned. Without a second to lose I loaded the gun and shot him in the head. Thankfully there was a surpressor attached to the gun.

I took his pouch which contained ammo and two canned foods. I slowly walk back to Ani. "Becareful next time! You nearly got yourself killed!" she whisper-shouted as she gave me a slap on the shoulder.

"Heh, I promised ya I'll be carefull didn't I?" I said with a smirk on my face as the memory of me promising her I'd stay safe no matter what flowed back in my head.
