1. The Weird Day

'The Darkness' could scare sometimes, could show the twinkling stars, could make humans to learn to lighten fire by stones but could always be overcome by the light.

This is Danford City, it is technologically advance but very small in geographical size, perhaps a very small world, where everyone knows each other. (driving to the Danford High School). Not all people here are good but everyone pretends to be so. (walking in High School and smiling at everyone) Classrooms are like heaven and the rest of the High School is a hell. (showing disciplined classroom and indiscipline corridors)

Shane - "Hey Chloe!" (calls from behind, with his entry)

Chloe - "Gods! Not again!" (whispered under breath)

Shane walks to Chloe..

Shane - "Did you said something?"

This is Shane, my stupid little brother. He seems to be a perfect guy but that couldn't change the fact that he is stupid. I am an year older than Shane. And wait, He is totally crazy about Jacob Mason....and me.

Chloe - "What? When?" (Hesitates)

Shane - "Uh..never mind. Today's practice game was awesome, you should've seen that goal of Jacob. You should have been there, it was very impressive and wait... why weren't you there? You promised me to be there..."

Chloe - "Um...I am sorry. Must have forgotten."

Shane - "What? I never miss any of your important ..."

Peter - "You will be late for the class." (passing by)

This is Peter Ellesmere, a very nice guy. I know him about two years now, he is one of the smartest guys I have ever met. His intellectual level is beyond anyone's imagination. He shares English Literature with me.

Chloe - "Shane..We will talk about this after this lecture. I am not suppose to be late in Mr. Rodgers lecture. Again. I am sorry, I shouldn't have forgotten about the practice game..." (turned walking towards the classroom)

Shane - "Okay, We will talk about that later but are you with this Peter?" (keeping up with Chloe)

Chloe - "No, What on holy earth makes you think like that? He is just a friend!"

Shane - "Um...I just don't like him" (with confused look)

Chloe - "He is just a friend Shane. See you later." (hugging Shane)

Makes to classroom before Mr. Rodgers..For the very first time.

Peter - "Wow! You make it to class before Mr. Rodgers." (sitting on desk behind her)

Mr. Rodgers entered inside the class..

Mr. Rodgers - "Good to see you on time Miss. Carver"

This is Mr. Rodgers, Literature Professor of the High School. He is one of those professors who even gifts there students literature materials but he loses his mind sometimes. He is not mad, just kind of complicated.

Chloe - "Once in a blue moon." (whispered and Peter chuckled)

Chloe sits alone in break. Shane has practice. Chloe sees Peter following/stalking her whole day.

Chloe - "Don't you have a class or something?" (confronts Peter)

Peter - "Um... Yeah, I do.."

Peter leaves..

Chloe - "I need to talk to Shane about this. He must be still mad at me" (talks to herself)

Chloe leaves for home..

Chloe - "Hey Mom! I am in the garage, ask Shane to meet me as soon as he reaches home."

Mrs. Carver - "Did you two fought again?"

Chloe - "Not exactly but thank you for the snacks Mom." (grabbing two sandwiches)

Chloe dozes of while listening music and thinking about the whole weird day. After few hours Shane reaches home.

Shane - "Wake up sleeping beauty! You wanted to talk about something?"

Chloe - "Yeah.... But first, I am really sorry for today... are you still upset?"

Shane - "Not really. It's understandable. You always forget stuff" (sitting next to Chloe)

Chloe - "Okay... It was a weird day, you know. You remember Peter Ellesmere?"

Shane - "Yeah, That guy from English Literature, Right?"

Chloe - "Right! He was following me the whole day, it was more like stalking. Creepy eh..."

Shane - "Weird... You know Mitchel, that girl from my Architecture Class?"

Chloe - "Yeah, What about her?"

Shane - "She followed Jacob whole day... Firstly I thought, she likes him or has some crush on him or something but now it's fishy."

Chloe - "I guess I should confront Peter and ask him about everything"

Shane - "Yeah! That seems cool"

I don't know, why everything seems so weird but this thing, this time feels really wrong.

Next day...

Chloe - "Morning mom.. Where's Shane?" (while having breakfast)

Mrs. Carver - "He got a call from Jacob for practise an hour ago"

Chloe - "Practise? This early? This guy is gonna drive me crazy" (whispers to herself) "Thank you for the breakfast mom, I might come home early if Shane had practise"

Mrs. Carver - "Yeah Sweety, drive safe"

Chloe finds Shane on the practise field in school..

Chloe - "Hey Shane"

Shane - "Hey" (gasping) "We are having great practise today, Coach just gave break to everyone"

Chloe - "Alright! Where's Jacob?"

Shane - "Um..." (scanning the field) "must have gone to the boys' locker room, why? You want to talk to him?" (excited)

Chloe - "Obviously no... You know, that stalking stuff feels real bad. Just wanna make sure that everything is fine."

Shane - "Oh... I guess, everything is alright here" (bell rings)

Chloe - "Gotta Go, Take care"

Shane - "You too."

Chloe leaves for her lecture. She stealthily searches for Peter's student schedule in High School's computers while in Design & Technology.

Chloe - "Holy God! I need to talk to Shane" (shocked seeing the schedule)

Chloe leaves in hurry..

Chloe - "Shane, Peter's schedule for yesterday was completely busy.. Why would he miss his lectures?" (in hurry)

Shane - "Guess, You were right.. the entire team is unable to find Jacob after the first break, now I am even getting late for Physics."

Chloe - "Okay! You get going, I search for Peter and confront him and then I might search for Jacob too."

Shane - "Great"

Chloe finds Peter outside the storage..

Peter - "I am really sorry for this" (spraying something on her face)

Chloe faints..
