Chapter Two

Selena's POV

I can't do this!

I looked behind me to see a lone wolf chasing after me.

Run!

Shut up Maya!

I held my ribs that were screaming in pain.

Let me at him!

I can't!

I looked back again to see another wolf behind the first wolf.

Help me someone!

I looked in front of me to see a huge cliff right in front of me.

Oh no!

I quickly jumped behind a tree to hide from the wolves.

I looked down to see blood staining through my shirt.

All of a sudden a hand was held out to me.

I looked up to see a familiar face.

"Dean" I sighed of relief.

"You're in trouble" he quickly said pulling me towards him.

"With who" I asked.

"With my pack" he muttered.

I quickly pushed him away from me.

"Dean you're not getting killed for being a traitor because of me" I quietly yelled at him.

"Selena, you're my best friend just like my pack, but right now I'm choosing to save you to show them your true heart" he said.

I smiled at him before my ribs started hurting again.

He quickly put me on his back and rushed down to his pack house.

"Jonathan Dean Ambrose" someone yelled at him making me hide behind Dean's shoulder.

"Seth shut up" Dean whispered.

"What are you doing" Seth asked.

"No time to talk" Dean said.

"Who is this" Seth asked.

Dean rushed upstairs to his bedroom and Seth followed behind us.

"Don't tell Jamal or Roman, but this is the lynx" Dean whispered to Seth.

"Seth meet Selena, Selena this is Seth."

All of a sudden I smelt a rush of vanilla.

I saw Seth and Dean's concerned eyes before everything turned black.

Seth's pov
"What the fuck" I whispered before I glanced at the door.

Adam what the fuck are you doing?!?

I'm sorry I got woken up by the vanilla smell and it came from Dean's room.

Wait she's your mate!!

Adam rushed into the room and saw Selena's unconscious body laying on Dean's body.

"My mate" he muttered under his breath.

I smiled at Dean.

4:00 am
Jamal's pov
I woke up and quickly got dressed in my workout clothes.

I walked outside and started running.

30 minutes later...
I made it to the park and started jogging.

After a few seconds my shoulder was bumped into.

"Watch where you're going" I said before the person turned around.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to" she said.

I looked into her eyes.

"It's fine" I said.

"I'm Rhea" she said raising her hand out to me.

"Jamal" I said shaking her hand.

She smiled at me.

"Nice to meet you, Jamal" she said.

"Nice to meet you too" I smiled at her.

All of a sudden I got a nervous feeling in my body.
