~✨ (Y/n)'s POV ✨~

Have you ever been terrified to the point of fainting from your own complexion? I really never was until today. I carefully took in my new details. Gray skin was definitely on the top of "New Things in my Life!" My eyes were a sight to see as well, they were their normal (e/c) but we're now irredentist, all parts of my eyes were. My hands now have a teal webbing between the fingers and I could feel certain teeth in my mouth that were now sharp and pointed.

This is what my life has come to? Turning into a weird fish lady? (Lol Undyne)

I rushed to pull off my apron before I scrambled out of the back and into the main area, regulars and other customers shrieked at my appearance. Then I noticed the three men at the bar section of my bakery, starring at me with new found looks of... Fear? Joy? Or was it wonder?

They carefully eyed me as I ran past and out the door, hoping my legs would carry me faster as I made my way to employee parking and threw myself in my car, my hair whipping into my face with how I threw myself. I stared at my hands, hair falling out of place and in view of my eyes.(Sorry if your hair is short like mine) Great, another thing that's changed. The tips had an irregular shine with gray, teal and lime streaks, but only at the tips, the rest of my hair was its normal (h/c).

I choked back a sob, clenching my fists in anger. "Why this, WHY ME!" I scream, slamming my fists on the steering wheel as I was now in tears. The car quickly honked in reply to my anger.

Red, blue, green, yellow, orange, indigo, and violet swirled in my vision. I clenched part of the shirt above my heart as I started hyperventilating. Tears were violently dripping from my eyes.

No, no nonono! Not now! Not ever! What's happening? Help... Help help helphelphelp, no nonono no! Why why why?!?! No, not now! Why me? What's happening to me?!

Colors are all I see... I knew I was starting to panic, so I did what I always do when I panic. Just breath and count five things you feel. One. Side handle. Two. Ring in cup holder. Three. Gear-shift. Four. Leather. Five. Steering wheel. Okay, that's better... Let's just... Calm down...

Okay, let's assess the situation. What's happening? Why am I only seeing colors instead of my car?

Finally, I realized what I was seeing is my tears. I slowed my breathing to calm my shaking and wiped the last of my tears and grabbed the wheel, determined to quickly drive home before things get worse. I jammed the key into the ignition, the car starting with a purr. I put in into drive and speed out the parking lot with a one-track mind.

🌈-time skip and a few scary-driver moments later-🌈

I arrived at my cabin and dropped like a corpse after dragging myself to the kitchen. Groaning I got up and grabbed a shot glass and stared at it. "Why do you have to be so empty and stupid sometimes." I asked, unclear if I was asking the glass or myself. I pulled the whiskey to me and started downing the bottle.
