Obviously the topic of this... chapter? Entry? Rant? Torture? Anyway, the topic today is humor.

Humor comes in a lot of different forms. Jokes, stories, memes, comedians (one of my personal favorites), an action, a movie, a show, a book, and lots of other things. And not everyone has the same type of humor. Some people find jokes funnier than others do. But there are things that have to do with how much you find things funny. Here are some of the things that I think are important.

Numero uno: The delivery.

How the thing that is funny is presented is very important to how funny it is. If the delivery is bad, then the thing that is funny... you know what, I'm gonna get tired of typing that. From now on, the 'thing that is funny' will be the TTIF. Getting back on track, if the delivery is bad, the TTIF won't be as funny. If the delivery is great, however, it can make the TTIF way funnier.

Numero dos: What you have already seen.

This also has a key role in how funny something is. Let's say that you are watching a meme. I find that the more you watch, the funnier things get. So if you've already seen funny things, the TTIF will be funnier. That is just me speaking from experience.

Numero tres: The people. (Optional)

The optional means that this one depends on what the TTIF is. If it's a book or movie or something, this doesn't apply. What this rule means is the people you are with, the person or people who are doing the TTIF, or a combination of both. For example, the other day my brother did something that was honestly stupid and dumb, but for some reason I found it hilarious. I even told him that it made no sense at all why it was that funny. (That event is what actually inspired this topic.)

I realized that if anyone else did it, or if anyone else was there, probably wouldn't have found it as funny as I did. I bet if I posted a video of it on YouTube, no one would find it funny. It was the fact that it was just us and that it was him doing it that made it so funny. Also the voice he did while doing it just made it better.

And finally, the rule that I think is the most important.

Numero cuatro: Your sense of humor.

The type of things that you find funny are what makes things funny. The other rules just contribute to how funny something is, not if it even is funny. And not everyone has the same sense of humor. And yeah, sometimes that can make things awkward, but what matters is that YOU find it funny.

So yeah.
