legoshi x reader - abnormal

The next morning I was in the cafeteria and all the tables were taken. No sitting alone today. I was looking around until 2 animals started arguing and fighting. The animal was biting the fox and Legoshi shouted.
"Enough!" He yelled, this is nothing like Legoshi at all. The fox started threatening him and Louis came in followed by a bunch of squeals. Louis! Oh my god! Girls squealed. I never understood it, why was he so popular. Could it be he was attractive, rich and the head of the acting club? That doesn't mean anything, how could anyone like his personality? I only saw him as a bossy brat. I walked out the cafeteria and went to the theatre early for the rehersals.

I hated Louis, if he wasn't as attractive he surely wouldn't be as beloved. It's about personality, looks are just a nice bonus.

Louis grabbed me by the hand and we ran across the stage.
"Mr grim reaper! Why are they chasing me?!" I cried and started panting. I hate this role, not because of my character but because it puts me near Louis.
"You were supposed to be dead 3 days ago." He drew out his sword and continued reciting his lines. It went on as normal, I stayed in character and desperately waited for the scene to end. And it did. I walked off the stage to go to the gardening club so I could help Haru like I promised.

"Hey you actually came!" She smiled and hugged me, then handing me a watering can. "Water all the plants please."
"That's a lot of plants." My mouth dropped at the sight of all of it.
"Exactly, imagine how much I have to deal with." She said and walked off. I blankly stared at the watering can then walked to the first bunch of flowers.

While Haru was gone, I saw Legoshi come to the gardening club and I went up to welcome him.
"Hey Legoshi!" I smiled, putting my watering can down.
"I have to go run an errand." The animal next to him walked off and Legoshi looked worried.
"Hello? What do you need? Flowers for the welcome ceremony right?" I asked, I could deal with him while Haru was busy.
"Uh, yeah. Roses."
"I think I've seen them around." I looked at the roses. "There they are!" I ran towards them "Damn that's a lot of roses."

"Y/n, aren't you in the drama club?" He asked.
"Mhm." I hummed. "I'm just helping out Haru. Talking about Haru, I should ask her if you can take these roses out."
"You need a bandage. What happened to your arm?" He looked at my wrist.
"Um, I'm not sure. I must've forgotten. It hurts a bit." I lied, in times like these, I can't tell anyone about a carnivore attack.

legoshi's POV

This is the first time I've spoken to Y/n, I've liked her since first year but could never talk to her. I can't believe the first time we meet I try to eat her. Why did I even ask her about it? Am I just lucky she doesn't remember. I don't deserve to talk to her.

your POV

"Come with me. I'll take you to Haru, talk to her about it." I stated, looking at his nervous face.
"Okay." He turned around but I quickly caught his tail. He turned back around.
"I'm so sorry, you were going to knock down a plant. Sorry." I apologise quickly and let go of his tail. I felt awkward and like I had to say something. "Your tail is nice." Oh my god I'm an idiot. No wonder I have no friends.

"Thanks?"
"Uhhhh, let's go take you to Haru now." I lead him to her shed. I open the door and tell her she has a visitor. "Bye Legoshi, see you at the assembly." I walk away to go water the plants in front of the shed.

I was almost finished watering the plants by the exist when I see Legoshi run. I know I'm not as fast at him but I chase him anyways.
"Hey Legoshi! Are you okay?!" I shout, but he continued running down the stairs. When he stopped, I caught up to him. I was heavily panting when I approached him.

"Legoshi, are you okay?" I asked him concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Really, what happened? Did you get the flowers? Did Haru do something to you?"
"Nothing happened."
"Did you get the roses?"
"No."

"Oh, I'll get them for you then. But are you sure everything is okay?" I asked one final time. "People don't normally run out the gardening club like that, it's like Haru tried to kill you or something."
"I'm fine. Thanks for checking." He tried to walk away, but I followed him.

"Hey, Legoshi." Another animal walked up to him that was from the drama club, this guy is more popular than I thought. "Is everything alright in the gardening club? Did Haru do anything to you?"

Immediately, my curiosity spiked. What did people think of Haru?
"Why, what about Haru?" I asked.
"It's a rumour commonly known amongst the herbivores." The animal began explaining how she was the school slut.

"Really? She's such a nice person, maybe you shouldn't believe the rumours. She's so nice." I responded surprised, is this really what Haru's like? I have nothing against girls that sleep with a lot of guys as long as they're not cheating on anyone. Legoshi agreed with me and he walked away, I don't know why but I kept following him.

"Legoshi?" I asked.
"Hm?" He hummed, I don't know what I wanted to say but I said the first thing that came to my mind.
"Do you want to go out to eat with me and Haru sometime? We're both in the drama club so we should probably get to know each other better."
"Really?"

"I'll give you my number and I can text you the time and location okay? Give me your phone." he handed it to me and I put my number in and called me so I'd have his number. "See you Legoshi." I walk off to go back to the gardening club. I saw Haru and I go up to talk to her.

"So what happened with Legoshi? Why didn't you give him the flowers?"
Haru got uncomfortable. "I heard about the rumours while I was there so if it was anything like that you can tell me. I don't really care if people sleep with lots of guys. I just want you to be honest and us still to be friends." I informed her, maybe she'd feel less weird if she knew I knew the rumour.

"I-" Haru was clearly feeling awkward.
"Actually nevermind, it's none of my business. Sorry for asking, forget I asked. I'll go water the rest of the plants. Also, would you like to come for lunch with me and Legoshi?"
"Sure, that sounds great." She gave me her number.

I went around watering all the plants listening to the Beastars opening, it's actually a really good song. Once I had finished, I realised I was late for the assembly that was today. I panicked and said bye to Haru as I run to the assembly.
