Donny's pov

I knew that Tom was far from okay. He was practically red when he left. I wasn't upset that people that we were dating, actually I didn't mind at all.

To be honest I kind-of smiled at the thought of Tom and I dating.

I walked into my room and threw the bag on my bed. It was getting late and I wanted to take a shower, but first I had homework to do from my English teacher. She wanted us to read a couple of scenes from Macbeth, which I didn't want to do. I hated reading Shakespeare, I could never understand just what the heck was going on.

I looked at my English book that sat on my desk and pushed it off. "Stupid book." I muttered to myself and clicked on my computer. I went online and onto the website called Sparknotes. I searched Macbeth and read what it said.

"Donny!" My mom called just as I finished reading the last scene.

"Be down in a minute!" I yelled. I sighed as I got up. I'm. Too lazy to be go downstairs, do whatever my mom wanted me to do, come back upstairs, and get in the shower.

I walked downstairs and saw my mom holding a pile of boxes. I grabbed two from her and sat it down on the counter.

"What's all this stuff?" I asked.

"Since your going to be moving out in a few months I thought I might help you start packing now." My mom patted a box and smiled at me.

What? I wasn't moving out. I gave her a confused look as my answer. I was going to need some context here.

"You know, when you go to college."

Oh good, context.

"Mom, that's not for another six, maybe seven months from now." I groaned.

"Yeah I know. I'm just looking forward to having a house alone with my husband so we can-" I cut her off.

"Mom! I don't want to know the details!" I covered my ears and began waking away from her.

She grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back. "What college are you going to anyway?"

I thought about this for awhile now, I never actually decided yet and I never actually had time to take my SAT's or my ACT's. I shrugged and said, "I don't know. Maybe Frost, or Saint Vincent, or maybe I should just go to CSM. I like CSM, it's close to home." I said.

"Oh no! Go somewhere far away. I wanna walk around my house naked." She said.

"Mom!" I yelled and she laughed.

"What do you want for dinner?" She asked, changing the subject.

I thought for a second, I was craving Chinese food. "Can we order out?" I asked.

My mother narrowed her eyes at me with a questionable smile. "Sure, what do you want?"

"Orange chicken!" I smiled and started walking back upstairs. I got to the staircase and thought for a second. "Don't spit on my food!" I yelled and ran upstairs.

"No promises!" My mother yelled back. I knew she joking, she better be joking.

Tom's pov

I got home about five minutes after dropping Donny off. I was still a little heated about those stupid college kids. I really wanted to go push them off the Empire State Building.

I walked into my room and flopped on my bed. I just wanted to sleep everything off. That seemed like the best option, but I remembered that I had homework to do from my English teacher.

I thought about it and decided to text Donny in the morning and ask him about it. Knowing him He probably used sparknotes. I laughed to myself, sat up in my bed.

I went through the bag I got from Marshalls and took out Britney's stuff. I knew she was going to like what I got her. She loves wolves that she practically wishes that she was one. Hell, she already kind-of is. She stays up really late, and when she raids a fridge she grabs anything she sees and swallows it whole. I might be over exaggerating with that one. I thought and smiled to myself.

Speaking of which I was getting kind-of hungry. I went downstairs and went searched through my fridge, freezer, and cabinets but I didn't find anything that what I was craving. I decided that it would be best to order some pizza, maybe invite Donny over to play video games and call it a night.

I ordered the pizza first and then texted Donny.
I'm getting pizza and I have video games, wanna come over?

His response was almost instant.
I got Chinese, but I can play some games if you let me spend the night.

I sighed and texted him back.
Why?

Again his reply was almost instant.
Mom's being gross and I want to be away from her.

I laughed and told him I should be there in five minutes. I grabbed my keys and before I walked out my dad came around the corner.

"Going out again?" He asked eyeing my keys.

"Yeah, I'm picking up Donny and he's staying the night." I said, tossing my leather jacket on.

"Where's your helmet?" He asked.

"I left it on my bike." I said.

There was silence for a moment and it bugged me. I decided to ask a random question that came to me. "I ordered pizza, would you want some?" I asked.

"What kind is it?"

"Meat lovers." I said.

He snorted and shook his head no. I wondered what was so funny, but it really didn't bother me that much.

I got on my bike a few seconds after that and drove over to Donny's. He was sitting on his front porch and when he saw me pull up he jumped up with a smile on his face.

I realized what Donny was wearing then. A Spiderman union suit. My eyebrows twitched as he ran over to me. He was about to hop on but I stopped him with hand. "You are not getting on my bike dressed like that."

"Oh come on, these are my pj's." He groaned.

"Go back inside and change, Donny." I demanded.

"Uh huh. I'm not going back in there." Donny folded his arms.

"Why not?"I asked.

"I told my parents that I was staying the night with you and my mom started undressing in the kitchen." Donny said.

I began to gag at the thought of Donny's mom naked. I sighed and patted the seat behind me. He squeaked as he hopped on.

I swear sometimes he's just a big kid. But again it's why he's my best friend. I wouldn't trade or sell him for anything in the world.
