Tom pov

I remembered what today was. It was Britney's birthday. She turns eighteen today. I got her presents together and put them in a gift bag.

Why don't you just flat out tell her that she smells like a dirty wolf? I remembered what Donny said.

I pushed that memory back and got ready for school. Normally I would pick Donny up and take him to Sheetz, but he's probably still mad about yesterday.

I don't want anything to change, he's probably still expecting me to pick him up. I left my house and got on my bike and drove over to Donny's house.

I wanted a few minutes before I knocked on the door. He's going to open that door and yell at me. He's gonna want me to explain myself, but I don't know how I could explain it to him, let alone face him.

I sighed as I knocked on the door. It was a few seconds before anyone answered.

"Tom, sweetie. What are you doing here?" His mom answered the door.

"Mrs. Hewitt, is Donny ready to go?" I asked.

"He already left. I thought he was with you, honestly." She said.

He's not here? But, I'm his only friend he would let drive around. But then it hit me, like a ton of bricks.

Blondie.

I clenched my fist as this realization came to me. How could he leave with him? Why wouldn't he tell me? Why did Blondie pick him up in the first place?

I sighed and sunk my head in defeat. I thanked Donny's mom and got on my bike. I rode to Sheetz by myself. By the time I got to there the rage I felt started to boil my skin. I really hated Blondie, and the sad part was that I've only known him for a day and he already took my boyfriend.

Best friend!

I sighed and paid for my coffee. What the hell was I going to do about this? Donny was my best friend, but yet I wanted something more with him. Britney was the girl that I loved, but what if I just wanted to use her for sex like Dream Donny said?

I drove to school and parked my bike. I didn't see Blondie's Jeep, so they weren't here yet. How early did he pick Donny up? It had to be early if his Donny's mom didn't know who was driving him here.

I grabbed my coffee and Britney's presents. This is probably not going to turn out good.

I walked in school and went straight to English. I sat nervously at my desk, waiting for the birthday girl to make her appearance. It was a few seconds before she and her group of friends walked into class, laughing about something.

I took a few deep breaths before I called her name. "Britney!" I said and waved her to my chair.

She smiled and Michael stopped her, whispering something into her ear and she nodded and laughed in response. I saw him wink at me before he took his seat and started to annoy his boyfriend and Taylor.

"Hey." she said and smiled at me.

"Happy Birthday." I said and handed her the bag.

Waiting for her reaction was not fun. I watched as she opened the bag and pulled out the shirt and the perfume. She looked at me with a smile in her eyes.

"Thank you, Tom. I can't believe you remember that I love wolves." She said.

I smiled back at her, "How could I forget? They are your favorite animal after all."

"Hey, I'm having a party on Saturday at my house, do you want to come?" She asked me.

Uh oh, those butterflies again. My palms were sweaty, and my heart picked up pace. "Uh, y-yeah. I would love to come to your house, for the party, with you." Smooth Tom.

"I'll text you the details, and thank you again for the presents." She said and kissed my cheek.

Damn, my I felt my whole face get hot. Shit, I was blushing! I hurried out of the class before anyone could notice it. Luckily the bathroom was literally a few steps away from my class.

I splashed cold water on my face so the hotness could go down. I grabbed paper towels and wiped off my face. Just before I was about to leave I heard people in the hallway,

"Remind me to never go to the beach with you again at 3 in the morning." Donny said.

"You're still mad about the whole me-getting-your-hair-wet thing, aren't you?" Blondie asked. Hearing his voice made me want to rip his throat out.

First thing first, you never wanna get Donny's hair wet. He will bitch, and complain about it for the next three months or until he thinks you learned your lesson.

"My hair is important to me. But you made it up with the whole date thing." Donny said.

Date? They went on a date at three in the morning? That rage feeling was back and I was about a second away from walking out of the bathroom and slamming Blondie's head into a wall.

"Don't forget about the Starbucks! I now realize that you don't come cheap." Blondie said, probably smirking.

"Well, that's what happens when you want to be my boyfriend, you buy me things and I make you happy in other ways." Donny laughed.

"Oh really now?" Blondie asked.

I was breathing really heavy, everything seemed to be hot, and I was seeing red. My target was Blondie, but I realized that I was in school and I couldn't fight here. I went back to the sink and threw more water on my face. I had to calm down, I just had too.

"You're lucky you're my boyfriend, because if you weren't I hit you." Donny said and I heard Blondie laugh.

It was a few seconds of silence before Blondie spoke again. "Go to class, you're already late as it is."

I heard Donny mumble something before going into class. I heard Blondie's footsteps fade and regretted it going after that bastard.

It was a few minutes before I was completely calm and went back to class. Donny glanced at me before turning his attention back to Mrs Shelton. Britney and Michael smiled at me, Lawrence gave me the death glare, and Taylor.

Taylor's emotion was different. She smiled at me, and it was very genuine, but her eyes showed a hint of fear. A fear of me.

I forgot that Taylor was there yesterday, at Starbucks when I was brought hell to life there.

I bit back that memory an prepared myself for the probably long day ahead. I was on good terms with Britney, Donny and I had to have a talk, and Blondie needed his ass beat.

Yup, long day ahead.

"You're lucky you're my boyfriend, because if you weren't I hit you." I said, shoving Roman's shoulder a little bit.

He grinned and pulled me closer to him, gently pressing his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him back. He grabbed my butt and I let out a little yelp, hoping no one could hear.

"Go to class, you're already late as it is." Roman smiled.

"Yeah because of you." I said and went into class.

Tom came in a little later, looking as if he was ready to kill someone. Did he overhear my conversation with Roman?

I focused on my work for the rest of the period. When the bell rung I saw Tom rush out the door and I was ready to do the same, but I was stopped by the bitch who started all of this.

"Hey, Don. I was wondering if you wanted to come to my party on Saturday?" Britney asked me.

"Party? Can I bring a plus one?" I asked, wanting Roman to come.

"Yeah, just make sure that who ever it is is ready to par-tay." she said with a smile.

Party on Saturday at the girl's house who was stomping my best friend's heart. This should be fun.
