a call from envy

* DAY 4- Your room | 3: 51 PM *

The black, luminous sky captured your gaze, so you trying your best to find constellations that you know of (you and Chara found 3 so far) when your D.D.D. rang. Levi's name flashed on your screen. You picked it up. "Hello?"

"Human. Come to my room. Now. You're done with R.A.D., right? Yeah, you are. I checked the schedule. So hurry up." It turned back off.

"Pushy dumb-looking otaku..." You cringed at her words but agreed. It is a rather pushy demand.

* Levi's room *

You knocked on Levi's room. He quickly ushered you in, glancing left and right before he entered his room. You assumed he didn't want his brothers seeing him with a human (a lame thing to do in a demon's eyes) and left it at that. You gasped in astonishment.

A cast of blue light shined from the ceiling that looked like sunlight shining through the water. There's a bathtub, transparent jellyfish strung on an invisible string hung from the ceiling. A dusty speaker sits on a lonely corner; probably having no use at all. On the other corner, is a desk, surrounded by laptops, snacks, and a bookshelf filled with manga.

Figurines pile on top of the shelves and posters on every inch of space imaginable. And of course, the biggest thing; a beautiful aquarium filled with pearly, white sand, reefs, corals, plants; the finest luxury a fish can have. A tiny blob of orange circles the huge aquarium; is the aquarium just for that tiny fish?

For the first time in your life, you wanted to be a fish, spending your days traversing through Levi's clear aquarium waters.

"Human, stop staring at my room, geez..." Levi sighed. You apologized, deciding to walk around instead.

"This is such a cool looking room!" Chara squeaked. An urge to look around brought you to the bookshelf filled with manga, and a specially designated shelf for series, with each book being as big as a dictionary. Chara lets out a delighted squeal. "Isn't that the Tale of the Seven Lords?!"

You quickly administered her excitement. At Alphys' and Risha's recommendation, you were forced to watch it, Chara quickly clinging onto the series. For her sake, you watched it with her, watching her squeal over every moment. You too enjoyed the series, but aren't as enthusiastic as a fan.

"You know about it?" He questioned.

"Yeah, I watch it." You said, still exploring the room.

"Hmm? Then, who's the first lord in TSL?" He challenged, eyebrow furrowed.

Chara snorted. "Does he think I'm that incompetent of a human? Please." You await her answer. "It's the Lord of Corruption."

You tell him so, and his frown is quickly replaced with a wide grin.

You sat on the floor, then raved about your (Chara's) favorite Lords, hers being the Lord of Masks, and Levi's being the Lord of Shadow. You have now been designated as a translator between the two worlds.

"Now that I think about it, isn't it kind of like the 7 of you brothers?" You looked at Chara (the ceiling) and gestured for an explanation. "If you think about it, Lord of Fools is like Mammon, who's always busy with money. Lord of Lechery is, um, sorry Asmodeus, but they're interests are the same thing; lust, or the other word that I don't wanna say."

You retold this to Levi, and he looked like he's got his head smashed by a truck but came out alive, his ocherous eyes in panic.

"Wait...wait..." You wait for a few minutes as Levi gets his head straight. As you waited, you walked over to the bathtub. Seeing as it doesn't have any taps, how does the water get in and out? Assuming it's a safe question, you asked.
