It's been a week, you realized as you checked the calendar on your D.D.D. A week... How odd. The feeling of surrealism, that you're living with some of the most powerful creatures of the Devildom is still there. You're sure it won't be going away anytime soon.
It feels like when you got out of the mountain, with the monsters. How your first encounter with humans scared them off, and the lies you told to help the monsters. Honestly, it's silly how much you miss them, you big sap. but you miss them, a lot.
Chara smiled at your blank stare. She must be thinking about home. A comforting 'wake-up, Rubina' shook you out of your stupor. You smiled at Chara thankfully, no words needed.
"You have homework to do, don't you?" You nodded and got started, Chara aiding you the best she could.
