5. One Thousand Signatures

Its the last day of their one thousand signature task and they are all in double time.

Neo is busy checking with his group's signature book while others are doing tasks that are given by the seniors before they could have their signatures.

"Good day P', Im Neo Thaddeus Jaturapoom, freshman from electrical" Neo approached the senior to ask for his signature after his group finished and transfered to other group of seniors.

The senior and his group just kept on staring at Neo without saying anything.

"P' can I have your name and major?" Neo politely asked the senior.

"What sports do you play?" the senior asked instead.

"I play football P' and I was a player in highschool" Neo replied politely.

"All ten of us will give you our signatures if you will join the football team of engineering" the senior laid down with his serious look.

Neo looked at all the seniors who are all sitting in the concrete benches.

"Yes, I will be honored to play for my faculty" Neo responded with a reserved smile.

"Is your brother, playing also?"

"Yes P', he is also a player of football, you can ask him if he will come to you" Neo explained politely.

The senior just nodded and reached for Neos signature book which Neo gladly handed to him. He waited for all the ten seniors to write their names and affixed their signatures.

After his book has been returned to him, Neo looked at the names on the book and greeted all the seniors individually based on the written name. The seniors gaped in amazement as Neo memorized all of them based on the names and their major on the book.

"Im so glad to have met all of you P', see you around and thank you" Neo bowed to all of them before he turned away.

Theo was also asked to play football for their faculty which he readily accepted.

Both brothers are also asked by the committee chairman of the peep squad to help recruit new members that both of them also readily agreed.

They are also requested to help in the recruitment of new contributors and editors of the faculty newsletter which they both agreed.

After they have committed to help the different organizations and sports committees they instantly informed all the freshmen and several of them showed interest to join.

So while the freshmen are asking for the seniors signatures they are also complying the forms for their registration in the organizations that they wanted to join. The interactioms of the freshmen and the seniors become more personalized because of it.

Its almost three thirty in the afternoon and they will gather again to present the complete one thousand signatures to the hazers and the leaders were the last to ask the signatures of their hazers and head hazer.

Neo and Theo were left in front of the head hazer while the rest are already sitting on the ground with their complete signature books.

"I will easily give you my signature because you represented the faculty for the Moon and Star competition" the head hazer seriously told Theo while he reached for Theos signature book and wrote his name and signature.

"Thank you P', it is my honor" Theo politely bowed to their head hazer and smiled when he saw that he has finished signing.

With a serious face and intent gaze, the head hazer handed the book to Theo before he turned to Neo, in time for the long whistle to blow up signifying the end of the task and all are required to return to their place on the field.
