before i start with this story, i want to mention a few things!
this is my second mileven fic and if there's something like this out there, please let me know! i don't wish to accidentally copy somebody's hard-work or anything.
this story will be dealing with some more serious topics than my previous mileven. this book was somewhat inspired by all the bright places and the fault in our stars. (and even a little on one of my favorite animes.)
there's going to be mentions of depression, daddy issues, anger issues, smoking, religion talk, fatal illness, cursing and overall angst. i promise there's not going to be any sexual abuse nor anything along those lines. i don't feel comfortable writing about those things and i don't have the intention of doing so.
the characters are aged up. mike is eighteen, el is seventeen and the other party members are also in the same age range.
that being mentioned, there will be no smut! maybe some kissing but that's really about it.
