Chapter fourteen 열 냇 (EDITED)

Timeskip

We are eating dinner outside. We are all chatting with each other, while having our feast, I suddenly felt a wave of pain shot through my body.

'I'm getting weaker again' I thought to myself. I finished eating and said goodnight to the boys and went inside the house to rest. I lit up an oil lamp and lied to the bed beside me and went straight to dreamland.

A day have passed, and we took out time to live early, because the queen's men might find us since we are still near Namgyeong. We are going to leave at noon so we could gather more energy to be awake at nighttime.

We are heading to Daegu since it's much closer to Namgyeong and we could also alert all the people there about the situation.

"Guys bring all the things you need and leave all the unnecessary things you have, so we wouldn't have any trouble in our way." Namjoon said, we all decided last night for Namjoon to be the leader, since we believe that he can take charge in everything. They also chose me as the co-lead since I really helped a lot in planning our escape plan back in the palace.

We left the abandoned house at last, and continued our way to Daegu. We are about to ride our horses, when we heard a galloping noise coming our way. We looked at the direction of the noise and saw the Queen's men coming our way. We instantly ride our horses and run towards the forest across the river.

The river is not deep so we managed to run fast and kill some men with the bow and arrow that we took from the palace. Me and Jungkook hold them off while riding the horse. As we are hitting them an arrow passed right through me almost on my cheek. I look in front and yelled at Taehyung,  who is in front of me to step aside. 

Out of luck, he managed to step aside just in time and avoided the arrow about to hit him. I sighed in relief and continue to shoot the men chasing us.

I was about to take out one more, but I ran out of arrows. I looked at Jungkook, but he also have nothing left.

I decided to do the unknown plan I have in mind, knowing the man won't stop chasing us. I grabbed my special dagger that I had when my dad talked to me last time. I got ready to launch towards the man who was riding the horse, Jungkook looked at me with the 'Don't-you-dare' look. I shrugged, and let him hold the leash of my horse

When I was near the man, I stabbed him on the chest. I threw him away and sat on his horse. I keep up with the guys in front of me, and took a deep breath in relief. I still had two and a half months in this timeline and if I died earlier there's a chance that all of them might break apart.

We are running at full speed to arrive quicker, and while the horses are running straight we noticed a small village a little close from here. We stopped in our tracks and quietly walk closer to the village.

From what we can see there was a symbol on their flag that surrounds the whole village. It was a symbol of a skull made out of smoke printed on their flag. I then heard Jimin mumbled something I wasn't expecting.

Jimin p.o.v.

We were running away from the queen's men while Jungkook and y/n are holding them off. I heard Jungkook called out Y/n's name, "Y/n!" and we all look back at them, saw Y/n launched to the man and stabbed him. She threw him out of the horse's back and ride that horse.

We were all relieved for Y/n's life threatening move, and luckily she survived. While we are running with our horses we saw a village nearby. We all looked closer and I saw a flag around with the skull symbol on it. I was shocked when I saw it and mumbled, "Ghost Warriors..." I think Y/n heard me since she looked at me with surprise.

"Guys we should turn back now and continue our way to Daegu." Y/n suggested to us quietly, we all nodded and go back to or horses quietly. We ride our horses and run sideways to be a little farther from the village. Once we are far enough we run straight again passing the village with no one knowing.

Timeskip...

Seokjin p.o.v.

It was already evening, and we just arrived at Daegu. Since Yoongi lives here he let us stay in his house, until we finally finish our business here. Our plan was to alert the government about the rebels and to work together with Busan which is a lot more closer to Daegu than Namgyeong.

I really hope they listen to us, but we'll never know until we try. I prepared ourselves some dinner while the others rest, and Y/n is taking a bath.

I decided to cook Sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew) and fried rice. I finished cooking and we decided to eat, I called Y/n for dinner and she came out wearing white hanbok.

I admit, it looks cute on her, she looks so pure and innocent but in reality she is strong and has killed people. But that doesn't mean she is evil, she do that for defense or in case of life threatening events like what happened last time.I really admire her for her talents and stuff, she is so out of this world. The knowledge she has is impressive too.

"Y/n it's dinner time eat with us." I said to her and smiled, she smiled back and nodded.

We walk back to where the boys are and saw them eating the almost finished stew that I cooked.

"Yah! That's mine, you already have three bowls!" Taehyung shouted at Jimin while the others just watched.

I feel anger building up, and they continue to talk and talk; not even noticing the two of us.

"Yah! Who told you to eat all the food. All of you didn't even wait for us or even leave us some! How sacrilegious for all of you. Behaving like that in front of a lady!" I burst out, they all jumped in surprise and look at us in surprise.

"You guys took so long to go back, so we ate without the two of you..."Jungkook said, all of them nodded and Yoongi spoke,

"I'm out of the scene I didn't do anything, also I only ate the food on my bowl. Blame the three of them." pointing to Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin.

"Why didn't you guys stop them then?' I asked, they just shrugged. I sighed in annoyance and Y/n just chuckled.

"Unbelievable..." I heard her mumble, I just chuckled at her and sighed again.

"Anyways what's done is done... I'll just cook another one." She nodded and all of them brighten up.
