"Just tell her!" Suki gestured to the beach where the blinded girl was sitting.

"huh?, What are you talking about? Tell Toph what?" Sokka turned bright red at the thought and slid his hand onto Suki's cheek. "You know I love you more than anything Suki!"

"But apparently not more than her, Sokka wake up!" Suki turned red as well but not with embarrassment but with frustration. "I know you have feelings for her, I still want to be friends, but ... b- but if you don't tell her how you feel then this break-up will be for nothing!" Suki yelled at Sokka ,timid but at the same time trying to hold a confident façade. The attempt was futile as tears welled in her eyes.

Sokka's hand trembled as he removed it from the warrior's cheek,"No, no,no,no,no,no,", the water tribe boy broke , he liked them both but he had to let someone else he loved go. He started bawling but fake-coughed and turned to his not at all convincing disguise of composure, "Suki, w-w-why, i love you, more than Yue, more than Toph, more than anyone, why would you-" 

"Shhh," Suki stroked Sokka's hand with her own, "listen Sokka it's gonna be ok but, it's over, go get the one you love, I want you to be happier," she started crying mid-speech "The way you stare at her, the way you joke with her, everything you do with her, its obvious, just go get her, please..." she trailed off. Tears now consuming her.

"I always loved you, but... I agree," Sokka hugged Suki in an embrace she hadn't felt since they first kissed, but now there was a bitter-sweet taste in the air.

It had been three days since the break up and Sokka was still crying. The ocean tide beat the sand as the moonlight shined directly on Sokka. The rest of the camp was sleeping but when Sokka tried, no luck. He walked past the bushes to the shore of the beach and lied down.

"What do I do Yue?" Sokka mouthed as he stared at the almost-full moon. He sighed.

"What was the crying the last few days for Snoozles?" Toph slowly walked towards Sokka and sat next to him. 

Toph knew exactly what was said but Sokka didn't know that. Frankly she had hated Suki and didn't know what Sokka saw in him because Toph certainly didnt see any of it, literally. She had been crushing on Sokka since just days after they met, falling for his goofy charm,humor but also his serious strategic side. Although she was happy with how Suki and Sokka's relationship turned out it pained Toph to see Sokka like this.

"Umm... uh-, it, um gosh it umm," 

"Spit it out Snoozles,"

A frantic and panicked Sokka replied "Suki broke up with me,"

"SHE WHAT?" Toph pretended to be surprised and definetely overeacted,"who would break up with you? You're amazing, you're smart and funny and so passionate about everything you do,"

Sokka smiled but was in tears.  He ,without prompt, walked back to camp leaving Toph alone to her thoughts.

"Dammit, I blew it," Toph was far in her thoughts by the time the sun rose. She had been awake all night just thinking about Sokka. She started crying. Alone on the beach.
