Cascades of Query

PROLOGUE

Ugh, not again.

I am tired and was running like there's no tomorrow. There this ugly giant boar that's been chasing us in the woods and we don't have a choice but to—

"Damn! Why do we have to do this?!"
I shouted angrily.

Natumba ako kaya gumulong gulong ako pababa ng burol. Ang sakit sa katawan pero sanay na ako sa ganito.

"Xylei! sa likod mo!"

"Watch out!"

Agad akong napabalikwas. I saw it. I saw the ugly pig running towards me angrily, his red eyes says he's gonna kill me right now.

I can already feel the adrenaline in my veins. I emmediately grab the  Karambit fixed blades that's placed at my boots. I run towards the boar and ready to strike it hard.

Tahimik lang akong pinapanood ng mga kasamahan ko. I've done this countless times in my whole life, the rage I feel took over my body and I judt found myself killing the ugly boar with no mercy. I didn't stop until it would explode.

then boom...

It exploded and I'm very satisfied.

I stiffle a smile, ramdam ko na ang pagod sa katawan. I turn my gaze at the horizon and watch the remaining hours. I sigh because of relief... We made it!

I run towards the both guys and hug them tightly, not minding the pain and bruises I have.

"Xy!" they hug me back.

"I still can't believe it, I thought you're just like those weak and maarte girl."

Hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Razi, but I see how glad he was.

"She's not a girl, she's a woman who can beat you to pieces asshole hahaha"

Razi shoot an annoying look to Sainte. Tinawanan ko lang sila until they ended up bickering none sense things again.

I walked away from them and sat on the grass to have a break. It's been 32 hours since we're here at nakakapagod dahil wala kaming ginawa kundi tumakbo at lumaban.

We're given 50 hours to complete this so-called quest. If we never make it in time we would receive punishment from the court but if we made it before time, we'll hear the great news.

Yes, we've been fighting and running just for a stupid great news. I pretended that I'm not interested about it at all and still ended up here.

Nag umpisa kong paglaruan ang mga kutsilyong dala ko. It's all Bayonets— a heavy duty tactical knife. I throw it towards the tree behind me tapos kukunin ko ulit at itatapon.
