Chapter 3: The Siblings

I look at the wall clock inside the gym, it says it was already 7:57 in the morning.

"What's with the rush?"

"I don't know, yun lang ang ibinilin
niya." Razi explained.

"I'll go first to the shower room, you two meet me in the parking lot." Tumango lamang sila.

I only took a quick shower then changed to my usual outfit. I took my dufel bag out of the locker and fastly paced to the parking area. Naabutan ko ang dalawa na nagtatalo.

"Why are you two fighting? Can't you see were in a middle of a hurry?"

"Nothing madame," Razi said while his look glued onto Sainte's. "Meet you at the destination bro." Pahabol pa niya at mabilis na pinaharurot ang motor bike.

"You boys are on a race again?"

"I don't wanna lose on this one, see ya!"

These boys are out of their minds! The fact that their grown ups now and not kids anymore for goodness sake. They always made decisions that would literally cost them their lives.

The last time they did this, Sainte was on a comatose state for almost a week due to a great impact when he fell off the motor bike cause they didn't used any gears nor even wears a helmet. Safety really doesn't exist to them. They both just stated that it was a challenge to overcome.

I entered my Roadster and drove away. I pinch the bridge of my nose out of frustration. Isa pa 'tong Premiere, he would summon us all the way from Fort Collins to Denver. The travel from here to Denver City would actually take 1 hour and 7 minutes of driving. I'll better remind myself to make him pay for the gasoline expenses later and that I don't take no for an answer.

The vibe and aroma of this place screams Philippine moderno. I can smell the savory Filipino cuisines and I thought of coming back home there, hopefully.

"Sorry, I'm late," I apologise to them.

"You don't like standing there for an hour do you?"

The table was good for four person and the only available seat is beside him. Naiilang akong umupo sa tabi ni Syre.

"So what about the sudden summon?" sambit ko na di lang man tumitingin sa kanya.

He shifted a little on his seat.

"We're meeting a client."

"Here? in Public?" I almost raise my voice.

"Just shut your mouth, we'll meeting her somewhere private," Good thing at dumating ang isang waitress upang bigyan kami ng menu.

So the client is a girl huh. Obviously! it's so unusual for a woman to be a client. I shrugged off my thoughts and look at the menu. I was surprised to know that they served adobo and sinigang, I ordered both.

"Guess what Xy,"

"What?"

He throw something towards me and I catch it. It was a car key-well not just an ordinary car key.
