Chapter 1: Se agapo

"Mamà can you read the story for me again? pretty please,"

I see myself in my room in our old house at Venice. Marahang sinusuklay ni mamà ang aking mahabang buhok.

"What story do you mean, honey?"
My mother asked softly, her voice was like music to my ears.

"The one you told me last night ma, The Contos de Propethya,"

"It's Cuentos de Profecía dear, profecía not propethya," natatawang sabi niya.
"Sige. Come closer, scoot up." she then grinned at me.

Sumunod ako sa sinabi niya, yakap yakap ko na ngayon ang stuff toy kong si  Spongebob. I love the way mamà would cuddle with me while she tell stories. Nagsimula na siyang magsalita.

Her angelic voice was already driven me to sleep. Hindi ko na naiintindihan ang mga salitang binibitawan niya. I reached to touch her face and smile at her while eyes closed.

"Sleep well Soireè, once you wake up, mamá is not sure to keep you awake all the time, time is running so fast honey hanggang dumating ang araw na kinatatakutan ng lahat, everything will make sense." I don't understand what she's talking about again but I can hear she's at the verge of crying. She whispered one thing to me.

"Always open your eyes love, protexe a túa alma." The last thing I felt was her soft kiss on my forhead.

Sinubukan kong imulat ang aking mga mata ngunit napapikit ulit dahil sa silaw ng liwanag sa paligid.

"Gumalaw yung daliri niya!"

I heard loud familiar voices.
