Back on the truck I lay on the couch beside Bolt trying to get some sleep I hear Mittens looking through stuff "So uh you got superpowers I guess that would make you what like uh some kind of super dog?" She asks Bolt "That information's classified" I roll my eyes and pet him a bit he looks to me I smirk at him and lay back down sleeping "Ah come on like what's your best power? Your go to move how about flying? Can you fly?" Mittens asks Bolt I shrug
Bolt rolls his eyes and shakes his head annoyed "Don't be silly I can't fly" I hear Mittens scavenging through stuff "Okay okay fine if you don't have any powers you don't have any powers what's it to me?" She says even I start to get annoyed at this point
"I have a super bark" He admits "A super bark wow your kidding me!" Mittens says amazed but I knew she was being sarcastic "What exactly does one do with a super bark?" She asks as I groan in annoyance rubbing my head thinking I am getting a headache "I really can't talk about it it's classified so I'd suggest you pipe down and take us to Penny" Bolt orders Mittens "Your awfully attached to this Penny character huh wags?" She asks almost dropping something but catches it
"What is that blasted cat doing?" I ask myself as I give up on sleeping and sit up "She's my person" Bolt responds to her question "Oh please she's a person and if you ask me the only good person is a-" She says getting ready to hit Bolt on the head with a bat my eyes widen I then push her back she falls back which causes a box of Styrofoam to fall on top of Bolt "Oh boy here we go again" I say to myself Bolt jumps out of the box "STYROFOAM!!!!" He shouts unlocking the back of the truck "TUCK AND ROLL!!" He shouts both me and Mittens look at each other "TUCK AND WHAT?!!" We shout I see Bolt jump out of the truck with Mittens following suit "Oh screw this" I say to myself and jump out of the truck rolling down I follow after them crashing into the ground rolling on the ground I feel something scrape my knees and arms a few times I feel my shirt touch something sharp ripping it up I feel it cut my chest I wince in pain Bolt gets up "Ow!" He grunts in pain he sees blood running down his paw I run up to him ignoring the immense pain all over my body"Bolt your bleeding!" I shout in worry he then takes notice of it himself
"What is this red liquid coming from my paw?" He asks I go to answer his question but Mittens beats me to it
"It's called blood hero" She says irritated and blows a leaf off her "Do I need it?" Bolt asks curiously "Yes" Mitten shouts at Bolt getting up after I wrapped his paw up I check Mittens for any injuries but she keeps moving around "So if you want to keep it inside your body where it belongs you should stop jumping off trucks doing EIGHTY ON THE INTERSTATE!!!!" She shouts dangling around in my arms "Hey I can't check for injuries if you don't stop moving!" I shout back at her she scoffs I roll my eyes and find that no injuries are on Mittens
I reach for my phone to check the damage to see it's cracked beyond repair I grunt in frustration and hurl it across the road I growl in anger "Dang it!" I shout in anger I then reach into my backpack I completely forgot about until now and begin to treat my own wounds
"Yeah normally I'm a tad more indestructible must have been the..*Gasps* Oh no Styrofoam that stuff it weakens me!" Bolt shouts scared Mittens grabs it and points it at Bolt "What are you doing?! Put that down!" Bolt orders Mittens as I finish wrapping up my last scrape I stand up and touch my head feeling a couple bruises on my head I then see Mittens aiming a Styrofoam at Bolt they circle each other "The stand down begins" I say sarcastically to myself
"Alright that's it I've had it with the both of you untie me pooch!" She shouts to Bolt I roll my eyes "Or I'm gonna uh-uh I'm gonna seriously wound you! I'm gonna seriously wound you with this Styrofoam!" She shouts in a dramatic way Bolt making him jump away a bit "Are you mad?! You don't know the power of Styrofoam!" He shouts to Mittens "Oh you bet I'm mad baby and I'm about to unleash it! The power of the Styrofoam!!!" She says in a villainous way "Woah alright cat okay you win I'll untie you!" He tells Mittens I look at the scene unfolding with a deadpanned look Bolt looks directly at me I look at him confused "That's a weird place to put a piano" he says trying to distract Mittens she looks around "Holy crap it worked" I say in amazement
As soon as I said those words Bolt smacks the Styrofoam away and pins Mittens to the ground"Are we gonna have anymore problems cat?" Bolt asks in a threatening way "No no no no more problems hehe I'll take you both to Penny" She says to him I nod me and Bolt both sniff the air I start drooling knowing what it is both mine and Bolt's stomach growls he backs away in fear
"What is that?! He asks scared "What?" Both me and Mittens say looking to each other "That!" He points to his stomach "Okay you have two seconds to tell me what you have implanted in me cat poison? A parasite? Poison? No wait I just said that didn't I? See I'm all discombobulated I can't think straight!" Bolt says me and Mittens look at each other "Patrick does he do this with you?" I sigh and give her a confirming nod "I don't believe this" Mitten says in disbelief "Your hungry" Both me and Mittens tell him his stomach growls as well as mine does Bolt drags the leash down "Where is the antidote?!" Bolt asks angrily "Okay okay alright!" Mittens shouts I sigh and roll my eyes
"As long as I get food in my stomach I don't care how we get it" I say to myself
