A/n:I love the movie Bolt it was a childhood favorite of mine and I also read a story based on it so I figured why not
I was walking down the streets of Hollywood going to meet my favorite actress Penny our trip was delayed due to a traffic issue as I walk down the road with my mom she turns to see my excited look
"So you looking forward to this sweetie?" My mom said to me with a smile on her face
I turn to look at my mom with a happy look on my face"YOU BET!!" I shout excitedly towards my mom she laughs at my reaction
"Well your friend is already there so we better hurry" She said putting a pip in her step I smile
"Sure" I follow my mother as I chuckle my mom heard a buzzer as she takes out her phone
"Hold on sweetie I need to make a phone call" She said as she answers the phone call and answers it as she talked to a friend for a few hours I was slowly growing bored until I saw a white shepherd running across the road with a leash across it's collar and a black lightning mark my eyes widen in excitement I run after the dog sure that was pretty stupid when I look back on it but hey I was thirteen what are you gonna do?
"I think that might have been Bolt!" I say to myself as I follow the dog he runs into a pole with his head getting unfortunately stuck I watch as the dog tries to bend them but can't
"Why can't I bend these stupid bars?!"My eyes widen in both shock and excitement wondering why or how I can understand this dog curiosity now taking me over I walk up to him
"You alright" I ask the dog trying to bend the bars he grunts in frustration
"No I am not al-" He turns to look at me as best he could I kneel beside him so he can see my face better
"D-Did you just understand me?" The dog asked me
Nervous with what's happening I rub the back of my neck"Uh yeah I guess I can but you alright?" I asked the dog
"No I am not my person is in danger" He tells me as he tried to keep breaking free
I look at the dog more closely he takes notice of this"You trying to figure out how to get me outta here?" He asks me as I see his mark more clearly I gasp in excitement
"Is something the matter?" He asks me confused
"YOUR BOLT I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!" I shout not caring how many people look back at me Bolt looks to me shocked
"Have you been observing me?" Bolt asks me
Now confused I look at the small dog"Uh yeah your show is a huge hit right now!" I shout at him
"What's a show?" He asks me my excitement fades I give him a deadpanned expression"Are you kidding me?" I ask Bolt who looks to me confused now more then ever"Uh yeah" He responds back
"Oh wow he must think those powers he uses on the show might be real" I think to myself he tries to break free once more"As much as I want to know more about how you've been observing me I need to rescue Penny" Now interested I gently grab his waist"Hey what are you doing?!" He growls at me"If you don't realize I am trying to help you" I respond to him with a sarcastic look on my face"Okay sorry now you try to pull me out from behind got it?" He asks"Got it"I tell him letting him know I understood him loud and clear"On the count of three...one...two..three!" both me and Bolt try to pull back as we do I spot a bird behind the fence"Woah buddy" Both me and Bolt look down to see a pigeon
"Uh hi" I tell him confused with my eyebrow raised up the pigeon begins laughing"You got your head stuck pretty good huh guy?" The bird asks Bolt as he starts laughing motioning his buddies to come check it out"Hey guys check this out he's got his melon stuck" The second pigeon turns his head to look closer"Yup that is one stuck melon" Having enough I try to force Bolt out of the bared fence he tries to use his own strength but his head doesn't give way"Alright guys either help or leave" I try to keep puling back but I'm holding back on my strength to not hurt Bolt"Hey hey buddies take it easy slow down" I turn to look at the small birds as Bolt tries to get out"I will not take it easy pheasant I am missing my person" Bolt tells him "hey buddy just relax" The pigeon tells him as I see him turning his head in a weird way "Just like this turn and pull turn and pull forget about it you'll be out in no time" I look to Bolt who looks back at me I let go of his waist and smile
"Go for it man" I tell him
Bolt taking mine and his advice he turns his small head grunting while doing so he eventually succeeds and falls flat on his rear
"Nice one man" I say giving hi a few pets on the head Bolt nods as he sees a Styrofoam on his paw
"What are these things? They've weakened me!" He says as he shakes them off his paw one of the pigeons pecks at it"Those are Styrofoam packing peanuts" The bird tells Bolt
"Styrofoam" After saying that he leans closer towards it his breath blows it away slightly "This has the green eyed man written all over it...have you seen a man with a green eye?" He asks both me and the pigeons I know who he's talking about but he's just an actor he looks to me as I shrug
"Sorry man haven't seem him" I tell Bolt he curses at himself as the pigeons look at him closely
"Ya know I gotta say something if I can say something here you look familiar Joey look at this guy's mug" He motions to Bolt I have to admit this is pretty amusing to watch
"Yeah you know I could have sworn I've seen this guy before" The fat pigeon responds as the other one says yes repeatedly in agreement "I gotta tell ya I never forget a face" I look to the main bird with a plain look "Oh yeah yeah yeah" Says the last bird "Never does" Responds the fat bird "Yeah he's real good with the faces and such" The creepy looking bird told us "Listen listen the man with the green eye tell me what you know birds!!" Bolt shouts desperately I wanna help but if I tell Bolt if he was an actor he wouldn't have believed me
"I know this dog" Says the bird "Yeah yeah me too!" I watch as this goes on the bird says that this might kill him he tells us to hold on I hear a bus pull up to a stop I see Bolt's picture painted on the bus in a cool pose I then point to the bus the birds look at me like I was crazy "No I don't know I-I-I thought I knew" Says the main bird slightly disappointment I facepalm "Oh my god these birds are stupid" I think to myself"Hey do you ever hang out down on 14'th street with a stray named Kelvin?" The creepy bird asks Bolt"Yeah yeah yeah yeah Kelvin the Labrador" The fat bird tells Bolt I roll my eyes me and Bolt look at each other "What?" Bolt asks the dog confused "Ya gotta give me something here because this is ridonkulous" The bird says to us"Absoluteness ridonkulous" The last bird responds "Capishce ridonkulous you know what that means?" He asks the both of us I look to Bolt with a shrug he sighs in defeat "You pigeons are useless I need someone on the inside someone close to the green eyed man*gasps* A cat" Bolt exclaims while he walks away "Woah a cat?" Me and the birds as simultaneously
"Yeah a cat and when I find him ohhoo hoo hoo when I find him I'm gonna make that cat wish he were never born" Bolt responds with anger in his voice"Man you seem to not like cats huh?" Bolt looks to me with a deadpanned look as the birds look to each other mischievously "I think we know just the cat" The bird says
