chapter two : my dad's a murderer

" Why, Adam? " Lucas spoke.

" I was protecting Damien. " Adam answered,

" Can't he stand up for himself? " Lucas asked. A ball of fire flew down the stairs. It startled Aqua and I but not Adam and Lucas.

" SORRY! " someone screamed from upstairs.

" What was that!? " Aqua screamed.

" bROTHER STOP INVITING PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE OR ELSE THEY'LL TRY AND KILL USSS " the same person screamed from upstairs.

" THEY'RE ALSO NOT HUMAN " Adam screamed back.

The person screamed as they fell down the stairs. Adam told us he had siblings, but this girl looked nothing like him.

" Regan, are you trying to hurt yourself? " Lucas asked her.

Regan stood up. She has short black hair in pigtails, and looks about 15 or 16. She had a black skirt, white t-shirt, and a pastel pink cardigan. With also a pastel pink toque and black circle glasses.

" Nooo,,,, I just fell, " She answered. She looked at Adam. " WOAHH who beat you with a stick. "

" No one " Adam replied.

" Regan, leave your brother alone " Lucas spoke.

" fineee " She ran upstairs.

" You look nothing like your sister Adam " Aqua laughed.

Both Adam and Lucas stayed silent.

" Girls I think it's time for you to go home, would you like a ride? " Lucas spoke.

" No thanks Lucas, our car's outside. We'll drive ourselves. Stay out of trouble Adam. " I replied. I grabbed my bag and Aqua's hand. And we went into the car.

" You'd think he likes Damien more than Aki. " Aqua giggled.

" maybe he does. " I replied.

We were again, silent the whole ride. Adam's mansion is a while away from our house. When we got home my parents weren't in the living room. I got out of the car and looked through the window again. Still no parents. I went to their room to give my mom the keys. But then I heard them still talking.

" Honey, you can't kill Kayla like you and Nathan did with Scott! " My mom spoke.

" I'm not! But we have to get her away from our kids and the rest of the people she sent in that tourture chamber her family created! " My dad replied. It sounded like he was on the verge of crying.

I knocked on the door.

" Leave the keys at the door Ally! " My mom spoke.

" Alright- " I put the keys on top of the door frame. " Wait, is there something you guys aren't telling me. "

" Uhm, no not at all! " My mom hesitated.

" Sure, sure " I walked away into the living room. And I sat next to Aqua with my arms crossed.

" Anything wrong? " Aqua asked as she paused the TV.

" Mom and dad are hiding something from us. And I want to know what it is. " I continued looking straight at the wall.

" Why do you think that? " Aqua asked.

" I heard them talking with each other. Something about Dad killing someone named Scott. And someone named Marissa died a week after Adam was born. Mom said it was her 'fait'. " I continued.

" That's- interesting for you to hear. Maybe we should find out more? " Aqua answered.

" How many all nighters have you ever pulled? " I looked toward Aqua.

" You should know this. All my all nighters were with you. " Aqua answered.
