Christmas was only 3 days away! I suddenly remembered. I quickly put on some clothes and rushed out of my room.

I had a roll of cash I saved over time. I grabbed it and stuffed it in my pocket. Today I was going Christmas shopping. I took my list and added a few more.

CHRISTMAS LIST

Ryan-new Nintendo 3Ds Pokemon game

Mom-Necklace

Dad-baseball bat

Scar-Suicide silence DVD

Billy-Any t-shirt

Jeff-

I looked at Jeff's name. What should I get him? I thought. I walked past small shops in the mall. I have already gotten everything for everyone on my list. Everyone but Jeff. Should I get him more clothes? A new sweater?

There it is! The perfect thing to get a phycotic killer. In front of me stood a pair of new shoes. "Perfect" I whispered.

I opened my door and realized no one was home. I guess they all decided to buy the gifts too. I got inside and shut the door. I turned up the heat, and place my heavy sweaters on the couch. I then took out the wrapping paper and tape. Taking out each gift I wrapped them in the wrapping paper. OK, so I wasn't the best wrapper. I then gently placed the gifts under the tree. Except for Jeff's.

Jeff's gift was neatly wrapped. I took the gift upstairs and placed it in my closet.

I heard a knock on my door. I jumped up and ran downstairs. I opened the door and saw Ryan and his friend, Joey. The two came. They were carrying groceries. I looked out and saw mom. They must have went grocery shopping.

After helping with groceries, we all sat in the warm house. Everyone was busy. I went upstairs and went in my room. I then fell on my bed and fell asleep.

...

I woke up that night and found myself awake. I got up and rubbed my eyes and yawned. The house was warm. I still had my sweater on. The sweat dripped down my back. I got off my bed and brushed my hair. Ugh! I was a mess. I sighed.

It was 2:19. Everyone was asleep. I then walked out the room and went downstairs. I turned on the kitchen's light. There seemed to be an aroma of mint. It seemed to give me a resting moment. I looked out the window. There was just snow all over. Snow covered the ground and all surfaces.

I reached into the fridge and grabbed a carton of milk. I took out a glass and poured the milk into it.

I then took a sip of it. The cold milk woke me up inside. I knew I would be busy tomorrow. I had to attend my aunt's Christmas party tomorrow. And besides I need to tire myself out somehow. I ran upstairs and grabbed Jeff's gift from my room. I quickly changed into warmer clothes and got ready to head out.

I closed the door shut behind me and ran out into the night.

...

I stared up at his house. It seemed depressing. Hopefully my gift might lighten his mood up. I walked up to the house and reached for his keys under his mat. I slid the key into the hole and opened the lock. I opened the door and quickly slid in.

I walked out the house. Wow...that was close. I didn't want to wake him up. I then continued back home.
