Lost in His Shadow (BNHA x OC)

3- Shark boi!

Spoilers to Season 4 episode 9 aka episode 72 (Kirishima's back story), and for manga readers chapter 143 spoilers.

There was a girl with the most unusual hair. She had black hair with blonde growing from the roots. It looked liked she had dyed her hair black, but her natural hair color was blonde. In all reality this was a misconception as her hair was naturally this weird. This girl sat in the back of the middle school classroom. Everyone acted like she wasn't there which she didn't mind as she liked being alone. She didn't like attention anyways as it gave her an opportunity to read people without getting distracted.

Since it was the first day and no one noticed her she took this opportunity to read all her different classmates. As she looked around at the wide verity of students two stood out to her, a girl with a pink skin tone and a guy with the cutest shark tooth smile. The girl with a pink skin tone looked like she was out of this world, she was talking to a group of students with a smile on her face. The boy with a shark tooth smile, but she noticed some guys looking at him like they were scheming something. From what the girl observed he seemed like a kind and lovable guy, but he also seemed emotionally hurt which reminded her of herself. To her it was like she was looking in a mirror. She also saw that some not so good people were noticing her. She blocked everything out and decided to start doodling while she waited.

"Hi! I have never seen you before. Are you a new student?" A girl asked. Tsukimi looked up to see the alien girl talking to her. Tsukimi was glad she didn't ask from the front of the class, but she asked quietly from the place she was standing in front of her desk.

Tsukimi stayed quiet as she looked at the girl more closely. She had these cute horns sticking out of her head and her irises were yellow while the whites of her eyes were actually black. Tsukimi timidly nodded her head to the girls question.

"Then I should introduce myself. I am Mina Ashido, but you can call me Mina!"ashido said with a smile, "you can come and join me and my friends at lunch if you like and don't be afraid to ask for help."

"It's okay M-m-mina and t-thank-s for the o-ofer." Tsukimi said quietly so only Ashido could hear, "I am T-tsukimi."

"Wow, that's such a beautiful name! It means moon doesn't it?" Mina asked

"Y-yeah, it d-does." Tsukimi said quietly.

This went on with mostly Mina talking and Tsukimi answering quietly, but this interaction was soon disturbed by the teacher entering the classroom. Everyone settled down and went to their seats.

- Time Skip -

As the lunch bell rang almost all of the students went straight to the cafeteria, except a select few with one being Tsukimi. Tsukimi went outside near the school gates. She carried a small bento box that was in her bag, and sat on a bench underneath a tree. A smile appeared on her face as she unwrapped the cloth that covered the bento box. A small note sat on the top of the bento box, and this note read as follows

Hi, Star. I hope you have a good first day of middle school. Please eat this instead of the protein bar you usually have. I know you spend your lunch hour training so please at least have proper meal. I know you can do it!

Tsukimi opened the bento box, and found a protein packed meal. There was also Tsukimi's favorite food, a salmon flake onigri. Just as Tsukimi picked up her chopstick there was a loud crash and cry's for help. Tsukimi dropped her chopsticks into the box and placed the lid on top before she changed into her shadow form. To everyone else it looked like a human shadow with no person to create it.

Tsukimi ran towards the source of the sound, and surprise surprise there was a villain. Tsukimi slipped into an alleyway to change back just to get a quick breath of air before she changed back to her shadow form. As everyone ran away Tsukimi went towards the villain. She noticed that there was a hero already there trying to stall until back up came. It was looking bad as the water hero was against an ice quirk user. The villain, who had the ice quirk, kept freezing the hero's water; and the hero was slowly getting frostbite. The hero on the scene was the #12 hero Seidon. Every wave of water Seidon sent it was frozen almost immediately.

As the villain was distracted Tsukimi changed into his shadow, and brought their shadow up off the ground. Basically Tsukimi was a double of the villain just in a shadow form. Tsukimi used the hero's shadow to create a shadow bat and solidified the shadow. Using this bat Tsukimi was going to hit the villain in the back of his head to knock him out. The villain noticed the movement in the air and turned around to throw a punch towards Tsukimi's stomach. The villain's hand went through the shadow leaving him in a state of shock. Tsukimi took this time to knock him out. After knocking him out Tsukimi changed the shadow bat into rope to tie up the villain. At this point Tsukimi was back in her human form and the villain had his shadow back.

Tsukimi went towards the water hero to help her get out of her slightly frozen state. Near the end of the fight, the villain had frozen the water to create a handcuffs that covered the water hero's hands.

"Seidon, w-what should I d-do now? C-can I help some more?" Tsukimi asked, her voice a little louder than when she was talking to Mina.

"You have done more than enough dear. Thank you so much for saving me! May I know my hero's name?" Seidon asked as she tried to free her hands from the ice

"Here let me help." Tsukimi said as she used a shadow to go around the hero's hands that were in cased in ice. Using these shadows she pushed them towards the ice in an outward motion. This caused the ice to crack and soon enough the hero's hands were freed.

"Thank you so much!" The Seidon said as she hugged the quiet girl. Tsukimi's body stiffened for a few seconds before she hugged her back.

"I am Tsukimi Togata." Tsukimi said quietly as they separated

"Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful hero!" Seidon said with a smile. Soon after the police arrived and took the villain away in cuffs.

"I can walk you back to school Tsukimi." Seidon said as the police left after thanking the water hero.

"I-it's okay." Tsukimi said

"I can take her back." A males voice said.

"Do you know him dear?" Seidon asked quietly to Tsukimi. Tsukimi nodded before she said her goodbye to the hero and walked away with said male.

"Let's go back to s-school K-kirishima." Tsukimi said as they walked away. She had remembered the teacher saying his name during role call and almost called him shark boy when addressing him now.

"Your quirk is sooo cool!" Kirishima exclaimed as they walked back to school. Tsukimi timidly nodded as a silent 'thanks'

"Can we be friends? You seem so cool!" Kirishima said while they walked

Tsukimi looked up at the slightly taller boy with almost stars in her eyes.

'Someone wants to be friends with me?'

Sorry for being gone for so long. I may or may not have typed up this whole chapter when I should have been studying for finals 😬 yeah... hope you enjoyed I still have 6 chapters that I wrote down but I think I might need to re write them.
