"No, Forrest! Wait! What are you doing?" My voice was loud, but the boy in front ignored me. He held my hand, as he ran, with me stumbling behind struggling to catch up. With all my might, I yanked my hand back. I yelled in surprise, as I fell down to grass below me. I shot Forrest a look; "What the hell?! Listen, you can't just grab a girl's hand, may I add who you just met, and run off!" He stared at me, a blank look.
"Locki... Locki!" I could hear Pennie's voice grow louder and louder.
"Locki- they're coming, come on! We need to go!" I shook my head firmly, rising to my feet.
"Forrest, I'm not running away. They're my family... Even if I've done something wrong, they won't hurt me."
He glanced at me in confusion, as Pennie ran up to me, Gold following closely behind her.
"Lock... Kie.... Why did you run?" Pennie asked. I shot Forrest a look- should I tell them?"I don't know. You, er- you scared me."
"How did I scare you?"
"Well... Ugh, never mind."
Pennie shook her head, handing me the gold Pokéball.
"I'm not going to ask about the pokéball. The guy however, coming out of your room, red faced... Locki, would you care to tell me what he was doing?"My face flushed Crimson red. "Ahh, Pennie! It's not like that, I swear! I just ran out my door and banged into him as he walked past, I swear!"
Gold, now standing by Forrest, glanced at him, and burst out laughing.
We all turned and looked at Gold.
"What?" He drawled. "The thought of Locki actually getting some action made me laugh!" And he began laughing again.
"Gold you bastard! Remind me how long we've been travelling for?!"
At this time, all the drama of the golden pokéball and the cherish ball had dispersed into thin air.
"Well anyway," Pennie began, "We really should be getting back. The centre closes at 11, and it's 10 to." We all sighed, and headed back. We headed into the centre at dead on 11, and we headed to our room. That night, I had no dream about a vast white Pokémon, and no strange Pokèballs came out of no where. Probably because, by the time it was getting light, I had yet to sleep a wink. All that was on my mind was the golden Pokèball and the cherish ball. I knew not to release the Pokèmon from the golden ball, but the cherish ball however...
With this thought I found myself jumping out of bed (as quietly as I could) and racing to the door with the cherish ball held tightly in my hand."You're up early. Couldn't sleep?" Nurse Joy's voice was thick with sleep, evident that she had just started work. I shook my head and asked for the time.
"Oh it's just gone 5. Don't worry, you've got plenty of time 'till breakfast. You're training, I take it?" I nodded my head.
"Yeah, I've got a new Pokémon. I haven't quite met them yet, so I thought I'd introduce myself. Sorry Nurse Joy, but I've gotta go!" She nodded her head, and began to load up the computer in front of her.
Running out the door, I quickly found the field.
'This is it.' I thought. I grabbed the Ball, and flung it up in the air.
"Go!"
