Mal's Older Sister

Chapter 6

I looked at Anthony and he smiled at me. I smiled back and we looked at the Royals. "Think about it, your majesty. The kids will be able to go to a better school, might be able to get better homes, and have a brand new start a new life." Harriet told Beast and I nodded. "Follow me." Beast said and we followed him with the others to the castle. We went to a really big room and Lumiere closed the door behind us. "So, your what?" He asked. "18." I said. "Your a senior in high school?" Fairy Godmother asked. "Yep but I'm staying in school for a couple more years." I said. "Why?" Evie asked. "Cause I can help other students, I can do other things..." I trailed off. "What's your plan for this whole situation?" Beast asked.  

"Well, we put a checkpoint by the Isle entrance that only lets the students who want to go to Auradon through. They can ask you if they can stay in Auradon and a limo can take them back if they don't want to." I said. "That's not bad." Ben said. I looked down at the scepter since it was glowing and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. "Melody, is everything alright?" Evie asked and I kept looking at it. "Her magic is draining!" Mal said and Ben wrapped his arm around me while Jay tried to pull the scepter away. "It won't budge!" Jay said and Mal pulled it away from me. My eyes rolled to the back of my head and I felt myself fall back.

Ben's POV

"Mel!" Mal said and I caught her before putting her on the chair. "What the hell just happened?" I asked. "Her magic drained cause she was looking at the scepter. Someone must have spelled it." Mal told me. "Who would have?" Audrey asked. "Would you guys have any idea who would have spelled her?" I asked Mel's friends. "I know exactly who." Anthony said. "Who?" Gil asked. "Your Mother." Ginny told Mal. "But Mom's been M.I.A." Mal said. "No, she hasn't." Quinn said. "Why would Melody lie?" Mal asked. "Because she didn't want to worry you!" Anthony said. "What?" Mal said. "She didn't want to tell you because she didn't want to make you stressed more than you already were getting ready to be queen." Anthony told her. "What kind of spell is it?" Jay asked and Fairy Godmother checked. "Sleeping spell. Needs True Love's Kiss." She said. 

We kept arguing back and forth who her true love was until they all left. I sat down next to Mel and grabbed her hand. "I have a confession for you. I used to think your sister was cute but when my eyes first landed on you, I thought that you were the most beautiful thing there was. Mal definitely had a crush on Harry cause he's handsome and let's be honest, I'm not. I'm sorry this happened to you and I will figure out who did this." I said before kissing her lips. I turned away to get up but I heard a gasp. I turned back to see that Mel was awake. "Mel?" I asked. "You saved me." She said and kissing me. I kissed back and pulled her closer. I pulled away and she smiled. "I woke you up." I said. "Your my hero." She said smiling and I nodded. "I am?" I asked. "Of course. You kissed me and I woke up. Besides, you are handsome." She told me. "We're having a beach day tomorrow." I told her. "I know how to swim and do tricks so I'm excited." She told me and I nodded. "Melody! Your awake! How?!" Mal asked coming into the room and Mel smiled while grabbing my hand. 

"You woke her up?" She asked me. "I did." I said. "I don't understand!" Mal said while putting her hand through her hair. "It's simple. You guys aren't each other's true loves." Mel said while I looked at her. "See you at the beach." Mel told me before blowing me a kiss and shoving her sister's shoulder as she left the room. "You kissed her?" Mal asked me. "You have a crush on Harry, Mal! I can see it when you look at him and everytime I mention him, your eyes light up like two emeralds! You don't love me, you love him!" I told her. "Why you so mad?!" She asked. "Because I thought what we had was real! But it apparently wasn't!" I told her. "Then what made you fall in love with my older sister, Ben?!" Mal asked me. 

"When I first saw her on the Isle of the Lost, she looked like you but with a different personality and everything. I remembered about you having a crush on Harry and I looked at your sister. She looked gorgeous and I couldn't stop looking at her but I had to because I didn't want you to be mad at me having a crush on your own sister. I didn't know why but I loved that she was a bad girl. She looked amazing that way. I didn't want to make you mad at all." I told her. "I will admit that I didn't want you being mad at me for liking Harry while we are dating. I think I love him, Ben."
