Question: How did you discover BTS?

- ooh an interesting question we have here.

I was in 7th grade, I was 12 years old. Well, actually, I was not really into kpop back then. I knew 2NE1, Wonder Girls, SNSD, Bigbang, CNBLUE, and Super Junior back in the days but I didn't really give enough attention. I just listen to their music without knowing it was in Korean (I just thought their English was just bad). But then, I have this hoe here, yoonmin_txt, she introduced EXO to me. I think it was in 2013 -ber month, I was more of an EXO fan before. And then days later, I suddenly wanted to know more about kpop so I downloaded a lot of kpop stuff on my iPod touch. There's this specific app <i forgot the name> that shows the singer's ranking, it was either solo or group.

I could remember the top 5 tho.
1. EXO
2. SUPER JUNIOR
3. BANGTAN BOYS
4. BIGBANG
5. CNBLUE

And yeah, the top 3 always fight for the ranking. Sometimes BTS was on the 2nd rank, sometimes it's EXO. I even have screenshots of those, but I can't find my ipod since 2017.

That app also shows a brief description of the group and the members. When you click their name on the rank list, it will show you the names of the members and their icon. When you click their icon, a brief profile description and a lot of pictures of them will show up. It's kind of a nice app.

I knew those 4 groups except for BTS, so I got curious and clicked. I could remember their icons, it was their outfit in <We are Bulletproof Pt. 2>, so we could say it was still on <2 COOL 4 SKOOL> era. I was staring at their icons for too long trying to memorize their faces and names until I've decided to pick a bias.

Guess my pick. Remember, I haven't watched any videos yet, it was just their individual photos that has the same size as your own twitter icon.

I don't know if you guessed right, but honestly it was still Jimin. I don't know, he was staring straight into my soul so I had to make him my bias. After that, I watched their videos. I clicked on <No More Dream> MV; and I almost choked on my water when that Jimin guy showed his abs, I mean- why?!

[I only apply Korean year policy here so it was in 2013, going 7 years with BTS, strong power thank you!]

So yeah, that was the beginning of it. I became a multifandom trash in just a blink of an eye and I thank yoonmin_txt for that, she's my bitch.
