Bakugo was once again  in his dreams. It was different then befroe... he was awoke to find myself not in his cozy bed, or even in the protection of his own house. He found himself in another world, a world of suffering. As the numbness of sleep slowly faded from his limbs he felt dead grass poking into back, like tiny needles. Bakugou opened my eyes and gasped in a breath, but nothing came and choked on his own dry tongue. There was no air in this menacing world; lack of oxygen descended on my mind in a panic, in desperation he sucked in another breath, burning his lungs with a ferocity that consumed me. Mist descended on my eyes. Through the misty veil surrounding his eyes, he could barely make out dead white trees like bony fingers stretching for the dark sunless sky. He could feel his heart beating against his own rib cage, slowing every second. Realization dawned on himself, is this what dieing felt like? He tried to move his chest, tried to suck in air, but none came. My heart stopped. My mind gave one final sigh. Then he felt nothing. Nothing at all. Darkness...

Kacchan! Kacchan!” Izuku called, running after Katsuki as they left the toy store. They’d both bought a pack of hero cards. “Kacchan, who’d you get?” Katsuki grumbled and turned around, glaring daggers into Izuku’s skull.

“The limited-edition All Might, duh. Who’d you get, Cementoss or something?” Katsuki sneered. Izuku lit up like the stars.

“I got All Might too!” Izuku pulled out his card, and sure enough, the cards were the same. “But they aren’t the limited edition ones, Kacchan. The limited-edition ones have a holographic background. These cards are just shiny and red.”

“Whatever,” Katsuki mumbled, shoving his card back in his pocket.

“Hey, Kacchan! My mom said you can come over for dinner tonight! Do you want to?”

“Why would I want to eat dinner with a nerd like you?” It was a short walk from the toy store to the boys’ neighborhood, so they reached Katsuki’s doorstep in no time.

“Katsuki can eat dinner with you! Katsuki! You’re going!” Mitsuki exclaimed, opening the door as soon as the kids arrived. Katsuki groaned.

“Mom, no! I don’t want to eat with extras-”

“Thank you for inviting him, Izuku. When should he be over?”

“We eat dinner at 6:30.”

“Okay, Katsuki will be there at 6:25. Again, thanks for the invite!” Izuku nodded and smiled.

“See you later, Kacchan!” Katsuki reluctantly waved with his back turned as Mitsuki ushered him in, lightly slapping the back of his head. His eyes were glossy and half-shut. When the door closed, Izuku exhaled, his shoulder sagging and his happy, innocent facade fading. He sulked home.

The tiny izuku looked at the adult bakugou

Bakugou woke up with tears in his eyes... "what the fuck is happening?!"
