Chapter 16

Heyyyyy, new chapter les gooooo! That last part was not edited even though it was a highlight chapter, so I will try to edit this one. We have hit the climax of this book, and it is going to be wrapping up soon. There may or may not be a next book to this too 😉.

Midoriya POV:

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight" I softly spoke at my front door of my dorm.

"Goodnight..." Todoroki whispered with a smile on his face.
I turned and opened the door to my dorm.

"Midoriya..." I heard his soft voice behind me.

"Yes Todo-" I was cut off by his warm hand gripping my wrist and pulling me back around into his embrace. His lips touched mine as he pulled my waist closer to him.

"I love you..." He quietly spoke into my ear.

I felt a warm feeling on my cheeks,
"I love you too, Todoroki" I loosened from his grip and entered my dorm. I closed the door and immediately slid to the floor. Tears started streaming down my hot cheeks.
"I just love him so much," I cried quietly.

"I love him to the point of wanting to spend my life with him! Then why do I have these thoughts?!" I slammed my fist against the floor.

"Why do I feel like he could find better than me?!"

*time skip to the morning*

My eyes slowly peeled open. I was greeted by the cold hard ground just by my door. Did I fall asleep here last night? I was just lousily standing up when my phone in my pocket buzzed.

Mom: 'Hey sweetie! Are you still planning on coming home for the long weekend?'

Me: 'Sure am! I'm packing my stuff tonight and I'll be there tomorrow evening!'

Mom: 'Okay! I'll have dinner ready by the time you come home!'

I sighed, that was painful, pretending to be happy. I'm glad emotions do not show through a screen.
I ran my hands through my hair to tame it and went into the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth before school.

*time skip to at school*

I had my earbuds in, walking to school to try and keep me awake even the slightest. I had "Snuff" by Slipknot playing. (Fun fact, snuff is a slow and sad song by slipknot that is the furthest thing from metal). The lyrics were not helping my situation one bit. I just do not want to think about it right now. I want to just be happy with Todoroki. These past days are days I will never forget, especially yesterday...

Just as I was thinking about it, someone pulled out one of my earbuds and kissed me on the cheek. I at once knew it was Todoroki. My face felt hot.

"Oh, hey Todoroki" I sighed as I took out my other earbud.

"You okay? You seem a little down" He worried.

"I'm okay. Just a little tired; didn't sleep super well" I faked a small smile.

"Aw, okay. Any plans for the long weekend? You should really get some rest" Todoroki slipped my hand into his.

"Actually, I'm packing tonight and going back home for the weekend to see my mom"

"That's good. I'm sure she's been missing you." He showed a slight smile.

"What about you?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"Do you have any plans for the weekend?" I returned the question.
