Tododeku - I Still Need You

Chapter 9

This chapter may piss a lot of people off, so disclaimer now. Anyways I know I haven't been writing hardly at all but drama is very much here right now and school in a pain in the a$$.

Midoriya POV:

Todoroki and I were walking down the stairs to where the dance was now. As we reached the area as to where it was, todoroki opened the door for me leading into a room full of lights and music. I saw everyone from class 1A along with everyone else from UA.
"Ready to have some fun?" Todoroki looked at me.
"You bet!" I smiled as I grabbed his hand and led him further into the crowd of people.

        We were laughing and having fun with Ochako, Tsyu, and Kaminari when a slow song came on.
"Shall we?" Todoroki let out his hand for me. I took his hand in mine and he pulled me in close to him. We swayed to the slow music with my head on his chest. It felt so good being in his embrace with nothing to worry about. Can't this moment last forever? That's when I realized that me and todoroki aren't officially together yet. I'm still technically with Kacchan. But that doesn't matter right now, all that matters is this moment. Being in his arms felt almost magical, like no one could hurt me whenever I'm here. Like I'm safe.
As we reached the end of the song, Todoroki was about to say something. He lifted my chin up in between his thumb and index finger, looking me right in the eyes.
"Midoriya..."
"Yes Todoroki?" My face started to burn.
"Can we be toge-" he got cut off by the song ending, another fast club like song interrupted him.
"Sorry, what was that?" I asked releasing myself from his arms.
"Oh, nothing, I'm gonna go get us some drinks" Todoroki sighed.
"Oh, okay!" I smiled.

         I was about to go find Uruaka when I felt someone grab my wrist. I whip my head around to see who it was. I see Kacchan with his head down.
"Deku... can I please talk to you?" He asked quietly.
"Umm, I guess" I looked around confused.
I followed him out of the gym onto the stairwell.
"So, what did you need to talk about?" I avoided eye-contact.
"Well..." he hesitated.
"Look, I can change. I love you Deku. I really do" his eyes started to water.
I've never seen this side of him before.

"Kacchan, everything that happened though. How do I know you will change? Todoroki seems to be the only one saving me from your bull crap" I replied.

"I know, and I can see that. I really can change, damnit!" He slammed his fist to the wall behind me.
I breathed heavily in fear that he was gonna hurt me.

"*sigh*, I'm sorry. I just don't know how to live without you and I know that I need to change if I don't want to lose you. I can be the best boyfriend you've ever had..." Kacchan looked up at me, still with his hand against the wall behind me.
I know if I try to stop him now, he's gonna end up hurting me, no matter what he just said.
"Trust me" he whispered.
How do I trust him after everything he did?! He looked into my eyes and moved his face to mine until we were millimeters apart. I closed my eyes hoping that this would all stop. I need Todoroki here. I suddenly felt his lips on mine. Why was he being so gentle? He's never been like this before. He stopped for a second, his head still touching mine.
"I don't care what you did with half n half. All that matters is that I still have you" he whispered.
"But-" he cut me off with his lips.
He moved his hands to my legs, picking me up. Without breaking the kiss, he walked up the stairs into my dorm (since it was closer). I didn't know what to do, Todoroki is still in the gym, and I have no way of getting out of this.
Instead of slamming me on the bed like usual, he gently set me down and slowly got on top of me. What if he really did change? No. What Kacchan did to me is unforgivable.
"I love you Deku..." he whispered. He never tells me he loves me. Never.
"I really missed you" he said as he rolled over to have me straddling him.

         Todoroki POV:

          I had got the drinks and come back to the spot we were in, but no sign of Midoriya.
"Hey, have you seen Midoriya anywhere?" I asked Uruaka.
"Nope, last time I saw him was with you" she said and got back to dancing.
I walked through the crowd looking for him. Where could he have gone? Hmm. I guess I'll just wait at a table. I found a table and pulled out my phone.
"Hey, where are you?" I sent and waited.

Hey, short chapter again and I know. I also haven't updated in a couple months. No, I'm not dead (I am inside lol) and no, this book is not done yet. I'm gonna finish it, and it will take some time. School has been crazy and drama has too. But I'm gonna try to write more this month. I'm thinking of Valentine's Day special ideas for this book too. Anyway, I'll see you in chapter ten, which will hopefully be early next week! <3
