(I'm starting off with Emma's POV on the first day after work)
Emma's POV:"Anabella! Wait I can pa-" I shouted.
"No." She snapped as she walked away. I sighed, I knew she made up an excuse because she didn't have enough money.
"She hates charity." I mumbled to myself as I walked over to Tom's big black Jeep.
"Hey, where's Anabella?" Rupert asked.
"She um... she can't make it."
"Oh. Why?" Dan asked.
"F-Family dinner." Tom furrowed his eyebrows.
"Okay..." he said like he knew I was lying. We all got in and were driving away when I caught a glimpse of black curly hair walking on the sidewalk.
"Anabella." I whispered to myself again.
"What?" James asked.
"Oh, uh n-nothing." I said as I went back to my thoughts. She has to walk home?
"Emma!" Olives shouted in my ear which made me snap out of my thoughts.
"What?"
"We're here." Tom told me as he got out.
"Oh, okay." We all got out and walked in. We didn't really care if we were seen although sometimes we get attacked by fans which we hated. But we deal with it because we want to be in public without having to change what we look like.
We ordered our food but I couldn't stop thinking about Anabella.
"So, what do you think of Anabella?" Dan asked.
"She seems nice." Rupert shrugged.
"She is." I said matter a factly.
"Yeah, I got to talking with her-" Tom started but was cut off by the boys teasing him. He just rolled his eyes.
"She seems like a really great person although she said her family isn't the best in the world." He said slightly confused. I gulped slightly and looked at my plate.
"You okay, Em?" James asked. I snapped my head up and nodded quickly.
"Oh, y-yeah."
"You've been acting weird ever since Anabella said she couldn't go. What's up?" Oliver said with worry in his voice. Wow Oliver is never worried!
"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just bummed she couldn't come, that's all." Tom eyed me suspiciously again and I started playing with my hands nervously.
"No, your lying, you play with your hands when you lie. Why can't she come?" Tom asked, his eyes burning into me. I gulped and took a drink of my water.
"I-I told you. Family dinner."
"No your lying. Tell us Em." Dan demanded.
"No s-she would be mad if I told you." They all looked at each other.
"Now we're even more curious. Tell us." Rupert told me. I shook my head.
"No. Now drop it."
"We aren't going to drop it and you know it." Tom said with a smirk.
"I'll make you drop it." I said slightly annoyed.
"Or ya know, we could just corner her tomorrow and demand she tell us." James suggested.
"Guys! She just arrived! And you're going to threaten her!"
"I wouldn't call it threatening her..." Dan trailed off. I huffed as our food arrived and we began eating. The boys talking about what they would ask her and stuff. I rolled my eyes, Anabella I'm not leaving your side tomorrow.
