Katie's POV:
"So you have seen him," Gabrielle smirked.

"Well..."

"Well what?" she asked Mia rather harshly.

"He always wears a mask," Mia replied shrinking in the seat a little.

"As would be expected of a gang leader of his amplitude," Gabrielle replied patting Mia's head. It seemed strange to me, but it seemed normal to the two except for the strange look Mia gave her. "Let's go," Gabrielle ordered walking towards the door.

"That's all your going to ask her?" I questioned. We had payed thousands of department dollars, and she only asked one question. It made no sense.

"She's coming with us...for safety reasons...but also she can help us identify him," Gabrielle replied motioning to Mia to follow us.

"She hasn't even seen his whole face," I replied.

"She's seen his body type and his eye color and hair color at least. So she's coming."

I turned back to Mia. "And you're okay with this? What about your job?" I asked.

"Yeah. Sounds better than staying here and dancing around for some horny rich idiots," Mia scoffed as she followed us down the halls.

I chuckled a little to try to relieve some tension. "So why did you take this job in the first place?" I laughed.

"It pays well," she replied with a wink before running up to follow Gabrielle a little closer. Strange lady.

We were almost out of the club when a manager tried to stop us. "Where are you going?!" the man yelled.

Gabrielle flashed a badge. "Police business," she answered calmly.

"You slut!"he yelled at Mia. "Of course scum like you would get in trouble with the police!"

Gabrielle's entire demeanor changed. "Actually..." she growled. "She is helping us." Gabrielle inched closer to the man slowly. "But you..." she continued poking holes through his chest with her finger. "You've been to jail twice, and you should be headed back there right now. But lucky for you..." she  continued backing the man up until he fell limply into a chair. "...we aren't here for you, slut."
And with that she walked out the door, leading Mia out by the arm.

"Um...uh...sorry," I said before scurrying out the door after them. "Gabrielle!" I called catching up to them.

"You apologized to him. Didn't you?" she snarled.

"Maybe... but where on earth did you even get that badge? We weren't given any," I questioned her.

Gabrielle just laughed. "They might not have given us badges but they provide a 3d printer in the office so..."

"Of course," I sighed.

"Hey, we're making progress on this case. Isn't that all that matters?" Gabrielle replied leading Mia to our car.

"I guess so,"I grumbled getting into the driver's seat. "Where are we headed next?"

"His favorite drug dealer," Gabrielle replied, pausing for a moment. "So Tea Berry on West Ave."

"My favorite tea shop? Don't tell me they're.."

"Yep. They sell drugs in the basement," Gabrielle laughed. "Oh yeah but first stop by my apartment. Mia probably should change," she added.

"Thank you," Mia mumbled in the backseat.
