Author's POV:

The team arrived a few minutes later at the little tea shop on the corner. "Katie!! My favorite customer! You want the usual?"

"Oh quite it, Nancy. You lied to me," Katie huffed.

"Whatever do you mean dear?" The wrinkly elderly woman replied.

"You were like a grandma to me and this whole time you've been selling drugs!" Katie cried. Mia tried to comfort her because she was clearly having an emotional crisis, but Katie just pushed her away. "Why would a sweet woman like you do that?!"

"Money doesn't grow on trees, dear," Miss Nancy replied rather matter-of-factly. Her boldness took all of us off guard for a moment. "Well, are you coming or not?" the woman continued pulling out a cabinet to reveal a secret doorway.

The team of detectives followed the woman down a long flight of stairs and into a large room with only a bar counter and a mother door behind it. The only other item in the room was a little bell on the counter. "Ring the bell," Miss Nancy said.

Gabrielle slowly moved towards the counter and rung the small bell. Instead of making the normal chime of a bell the thing started playing an eerie circus music. "What the heck?!" Gabrielle shieked jumping back.

"I swear if someone jumps out in a clown mask I will kick you," Katie warned.

"Kick? You have a gun. I hate clowns. Just kill the thing!" Mia yelled hiding behind Nancy.

"So no clown mask...."someone said from behind the door on the other side of the counter. Suddenly the door swung open revealing a dark haired woman in a rebel clown themed outfit. She had on a puffy white top with rainbow buttons mixed with a black leather corset belt and a spiky choker. "Surpised to see you down here Katie," the lady greeted.

"How do you know my...."

Nancy started to twitch all of a sudden. It looked like she was having a stroke. "Miss Nancy?!" Mia said trying to help the elderly woman.

"Ah. Its malfunctioning again," sighed the woman, leaping over the counter to Nancy.

"Malfunctioning..?" Katie questioned.

The women patted Nancy's back before violently hitting her harder. Nancy's back flew open revealing wire and panels. "What the actual fu..."

"Nancy's a robot?!" Katie screamed. (Cue mental breakdown part two.)

"Well she wasn't always a robot... but yeah," the lady replied, fixing a few wire connections before closing the main panel again. She hopped back over the counter and casually leaned against the surface. "So what brings you down here?" she asked. "I presume it's not drugs considering your reaction to it earlier," she added pointing to Katie.

"We're the police. We're here to ask a few questions," Gabrielle said whipping out her fake badge again.

"See there's your first problem. I don't like the police. Also, that was kind of rude," the lady laughed maniacally.

"They're trying to catch the Boss," Mia explained.

"Well why didn't you say soo?!"
