A few hours later Katie woke up back in her bed. "That was a strange dream," she grumbled turning to face her alarm clock. "Oh shoot! I'm late!" She shot out of bed and ran to her closet.

Suddenly her bedroom door swung open revealing what looked like Rachel in everyday clothes. "She's awake!" she yelled out of the room. "You might want to sit back down," Rachel suggested flopping on the bed and patting the place beside her.

"How did you get in here?? And how are you dressed like that?" Katie replied making her way over to her bed.

"I drugged your tea and told the guards you were drunk and that o was helping you to your room," Rachel replied rather matter-of-factly.

"You make it sound like it was your idea," a strangely familiar voice said from it of the room. In walked a woman wearing seemingly normal clothes paired with a golden snake mask.

"You're... you're a Serpentine? Why are you working with her?!" Katie scolded Rachel.

"Power. That's why. Together our gangs are unstoppable," the lady answered for Rachel.

Katie sighed. "So what do you want with me? I'm not gonna help you."

"You've already done a lot more than just help us," the lady smirked catching Katie's attention. "But, I thought it was about time, we don't you the truth."

Katie gave the woman a puzzled look. "So is this an official confession to the police?" Katie replied smartly.

The lady just laughed. "Trust me, Katie, you don't want the police to know about this and what you've been up to."

"I was kidnapped!" Katie argued.

"Oh this isn't about this little arrangement. You've been in deep way before we brought you here," the lady replied jumping up to sit on Katie's dresser.

"How deep are you talking?"

The lady just hummed in response.

"What are you talking about!" Katie yelled getting more frustrated. She shot off the bed and was about to strangle the lady, but Rachel pulled her back to the bed.

"I'll tell you soon enough," the lady replied calmly, completely unfazed for almost being attacked. Katie huffed and sat back on the bed crossing her arms. "First I'd like you to meet someone." The ladies mask aloud Katie to see the obvious smirk on her face. The look was downright unsettling. "Come in!" the lady called.

Katie cringed, expecting to see a tall angry henchmen or assassin walk in. Well, to be honest, she just imagined someone big and scary. She saw the door opening and immediately closed her eyes, afraid to meet her possibly tormentor.

"Open your eyes," Rachel whispered to her.

Katie slowly opened her eyes, finally seeing the person. Her mouth opened wide at the sight.
